I'm really excited about this game, tho it doesn't come out until end of the year. Looks like it will be on PC (yeah!), PS3, and 360. I like that they moved the setting up to modern war, rather than another WWII game (I think most of us were burnt out on those). The graphics look incredible...be sure to watch the vids:

Yea, i would totally get this game. Apparently it was on of the best at the e3. And i would agree with you, that the modern setting is a breath of relief. We played ww2 so many times...The Nazis could be considered an endangered species.

 

 

 

The graphics aren't half bad either, but what i want is to invade somewhere else other than Normandy. The game looks like it kept the CoD gameplay, just in a different setting. Thats a touch of perfect.

I didn't realize Infinity Ward didn't do CoD3. As much as I like CoD's I never played 3, cuz it wasn't on PC...I never understood how anyone can play FPS's on console...so much better on PC.

Game informer reviewed CoD4 a couple months ago, I nearly fainted when I saw the amazing quality of this game.

Well, after I got my new rig and downloaded the demo, I always had a smooth fps at 60!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Not that i'm complaining, but the graphics were somewhat decent to me. I have seen better I suppose.

Anyways..I've only played CoD 1 on the console and CoD3 on Ps2. Cod1 isn't that great, but 3 is nothing short of amazing..that's just me though. I can't wait for 4.

Put it this way...there willing to say its realistic when it isnt at all...well not really realistic..

I'm actually sad for this game, I always liked Call of Duty for its WWII games...there's GRAW, Socom, Rainbow Six for modern stuff....that leaves on MOH!! :(

Call of Duty 2 was the ONLY first person shooter than I enjoyed since Goldeneye for the N64 came out. I still play it all the time. I did not like Call of Duty 3, they screwed up alot of things with the classes and made the snipers annoying to use. Hopefully Call of Duty 4 will be as enjoyable as Call of Duty 2 was for me.

 

 

 

And before you say Halo, I hated that game (both of them, hopefully 3 will be a little bit better but I doubt it).

Heh, don't get me wrong, Halo's great, but I don't care for them anymore since playing the Halo 3 beta.

i have call of duty2 and 3. the second one is good but the third one?

 

i don't like the third one. i hope call of duty 4 isn't like 3.
