theres still so many in game... some ppl still got 10 of them+ hell when thay where droped i got over 30 of them. dew to bank space back then i got rid of them. nor do i want them. just get ppl asking if i know the price or if i am selling them... me not!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

or even constrution skill. ligit players have a real hard time even getting that high in that skill. cost me 800k just to get to lvl 50... to max the skill with oak it be 53m gold and thats not even any thing good in it. 220k oak planks. to have the best at 99 you would need 200m gold. hell i think out of 7 years of RS i had a total of 45m in all... most at once 6m. i dont sit and try and sell stuff over priced. i dont have time to. and its boring and to much spam...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i have the skills to make ok money. but its costly to do alot of thing. and out of the worst luck on dragon drops i get alot of rune items... lol.

Yeah, and this is a Thread which is being created 1 day at a time, too :-X.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Many people are recruited by an organisation, to play RuneScape (In this case) for a large period of time, to acquire a specific item. Mainly the common materials which a lot of players use to Skill (Logs, Flax, Fish, Essence).

 

 

 

So, when large amounts of these examples have been aquired by one person, they are immediately paid for it by the organisation. Usually with real-life currency.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is another alternative to Autoers/Macroers. But it brings the same effect on the Economy. Prices will tend to decrease, and the materials become easier to get hold of. This is ruining RuneScape, for sure, but there isn't much we can do about it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You can't really tell if the typical level 3 autoers are in fact 'Farmers', so I tend to still report anyone suspicious as 'Macroing'. Just keep doing that, and hopefully, it'll make the problem seem slightly more calmer.

There are much better ways to feed poor people other than have them play runescape for 10 hours a day for $1 per hour. They are doing a lot of bad and almost no good.

actually, wakka, it's giving gold farmers jobs, the autoers are independant from human contact except when supplies are being picked up from them. so it gives gold farmers a job, but autoers do nothing but ruin the economy. but there are plenty of jobs for the chinese to do anyway, as they are treated like slaves. they are confined to a pre chosen room when they are not working, yet they have to pay for it, so they are making about the equivalent of $5 us dollars a year.

so basically, you're a moron who thinks jagex is going to take away f2p. get real. f2p attracts members, by giving them few features and enticing them with more. if there was no f2p, the p2p economy would crash, as i hate to regret it, but a lot of supplies come from f2p. if there was no f2p, nobody would be able to experience the game before buying it, which would make people hesitant about getting it, thus reducing the amount of members.

If you had done any other research other than using the demonic site most call Wikipedia, you woud know that gold farmers are less that 1% of the players from China. There really isn't that many of them, they're all just in the more popular training spots for money and materials.

China cannot be sued, and that is possibly the stupidest suggestion I've ever heard. Why sue China anyway? Their government is not behind goldfarmers, and the existence of goldfarmers on an online videogame is the least of geopolitical worries. Track down the people farming maybe, but you can't blame this on the government.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The f2p servers will NEVER go down. 99% of members started off as f2p. Using that logic, only 1% of the potential income through members will remain if the free servers are closed. Over all, it would hurt jagex more to close the f2p servers than to pay a little to keep them running.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jagex will likely increase the price tag on runescape, but only if the quality of the gameplay increases with it. More fun to play= more you gotta pay. So there is no extreme damage to us, the players.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the long run maybe it may hurt, but it would take long enough that you wouldn't be playing runescape that long anyway. Stop worrying I say, the game is quite good now, enjoy it.
