August 17, 200718 yr I picked Warrior as I remember, and was issued a standard bronze short sword and my wooden shield.. but spent the first few minutes fighting Hans with my bare fists. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.

So I tried making an adventurer, but they didn't start out with anything, so I ditched it. August 25, 200718 yr ya if i hadnt spent the time i had getting 85 mining by jan 2003 i probably would have guaranteed myself at least 97 hp and probably 117-118 combat before rs2 came out. ended up 92 hp and one lvl from being 112 combat the day rs2 was released...
