Gah, I don't know how to explain this. I don't really care if someone wants to be gay, just as long as you don't go announcing your sexuality to the world at every chance like killbeer0. (speaking of, has anyone seen him? :?) It's not affecting anyone afterall.

Before I really started thinking about homosexuality and doing some research into it, I thought it was pretty gross too. Restricting gay marriage up until now is just another item on a huge check list of human repression, and now this fight between people speaking against it and those in favor of it just goes to show how tragically comical social constructs are in our society. I'm pretty sure spank was bolded for a reason, as it was most likely the one referred to. Although hugging is also done a lot in sports. Kissing is still a little weird, though.

wow this is totally off the RS topic. I'm sorry if i'm writing something thats all ready been said in previous posts...there are a lot of them. I'm heterosexual and I just want everyone to be able to find the same kind of true love that I can have and not be judged for it. I am sorely disappointed in anyone who would speak out against someones right to pursue happiness. homosexuality does hurt anyone any more that heterosexuality does. and don't even start that religious crap about it being wrong, cause if you were to follow everything ELSE the bible says, the world would be so messed up even right-wing conservatives couldn't stand it. everyone deserves to be loved for who they are, live their lives openly and honestly and be free from judgement and hate PERIOD. and those who object to homosexuality, can just close their eyes the same why they have closed their minds and hearts and just leave everyone else alone to live their own lives with their own values.

So true. I'm a Christian, but I'm not against Homosexuals at all. I believe that while it is a sin, it's no different from going to the bar at night when you say you're at work, or taking a cookie from the cookie jar. My mom however, is so Christian (She's running a huge tea party here in VA Beach, kinda embarrassing) she says that every time gays kiss it's another year they spend in hell. And when I brought up how it's messed up that Gays can't get time off to care for their spouses, she said that there should be no mercy for Satanists. *sigh* God she's annoying. However, the LGBT community is upset at Obama apparently, because he didn't hold on some promise he made to them? I don't know the logistics.

If you're mom's a hardcore christian, and she says that for every time they kiss, it's another year in hell, than she doesn't know what she's talking about religion-wise, as, unless I'm incorrect, hell is supposed to be eternal.

Well she kinda has a form of dementia.. She says stuff that almost never makes sense. And she does believe that hell is eternal, maybe she means... heck I have no idea what she means.. But I used to be a gay basher (not physically) back in 6-7th grade, then asked myself why I hated gays, and couldn't think of a good reason, and so I stopped hating em.
