Is there an estimated date when we can expect to see the results? Now with the Search option disabled, View X/Y's posts doesn't work anymore. Does this effect the process in any way at this time?

 

 

 

Hehe it does/did affect it a tad. Although, we're actually quite lucky. We managed to get through almost all of the applications and make decisions before the search function went offline.

No, I believe the system they have is when the application was sent in, a topic in a hidden Moderator Forum is created then the applicant is discussed.

 

 

 

NB: This may not be correct, im just clutching at straws/guessing here :XD:

 

 

 

But i believe it will not hinder the process, as there will be (possibly) less than 50 people who are still in the running (?) and the Savebox is 50, so all is set - No need to worry :) they got it sorted

you're pretty much on the ball there necromancer; and the size of the save box has little to do with it when the admin team has their own forum to 'save applications' to ;)

 

 

 

the short-list, no doubt, will then be discussed with the current staff, and final decisions made with the successful applicants being informed, etc. THen said topic with the short-list and feedback from the staff will be moved to an admin-only forum for safe keeping.

Not much. The only thing I can see us doing to prepare is perhaps not send any application responses for the five days leading up to the purge.

 

 

 

The trick is for all of you to keep up with your inboxes for our messages. We'll be sure to move yours to a safe place.

That'll help, I was wondering how the purge was going to affect the process.

It is imperative that all applicants check for private messages. We have a number of responses sitting in our outboxes. We'll do our part and move your responses to a safe place but you need to check your Inbox or you may not ever know the result of your application when the Nov 1 Message purge hits.
