limpbizkit
I Love being either a soldier or an engineer. Bassically all I am. Sniper is ok if i know there is a larger space. I cant seem to be a good pyro, yet i get owned by them all the time Ark kills pyro Pyro kills ark Edit: We should all try and find a server together some time. Would be awesome. Or someone who can making one. Tif 360 MGC Leaderboard
Azvareth
You could have took a screen of that game that we played in :( Pyro + Medic + Ubercharge = Godly :D / Jihadism :P Oh yeah, those are always epic. Like if you're the red team on Dustbowl, and you max your ÃÆÃâÃâ¦Ã¢â¬Åbercharge before the game starts, and then as soon as it begins, you grab a pyro and just run down the tunnels and kill everyone. Man, I get goosebumps just thinking about it.
Revenga
Yes, I'm a little bit behind on this Orange Box phenomenon, but I'm a cheapass and need to know somethings: These games are all being sold at once for 400?$ I can get TF2 seperatly for PC? It's really the only one I'm willing to spend money for. If I'm running at nVIDIA 6100 should I bother upgrading to play it? I think it said something about 6300 for IDEAL gameplay. Something like that. TF2 = Monthly fee? and can Xbox 360 live play with the PC online? |Msg me me in-game | IrreIephant| ^ capital i

I know that the portal is closed now, but I really don't get the significance of the Borealis besides that it was built by apature science. Plus what are those things at the end that kill Eli?[/hide] Sig by IkuraiYour Guide to Posting! Behave or I will send my Moose mounted Beaver launchers at you! IMO I think it holds the portal gun -- read up on my theory earlier in the thread. I don't remember what those are called, but I do know that they know everything of a person they kill. They are from the combine (obviously). Eli's death was significant not just for the fact that he died, but the fact that now the combine will know everything of the resistance. Second, Team Fortress can be bought on it's own through Steam for US$30. Third, it should run fine on a 6100. I can run Counter Strike Source (similar specs) on a 5200 so it should work fine on a 6100, you'll just have to turn the graphic effects down. Lastly, there is no monthly fee for the PC version. Of course the Xbox version uses Xbox Live. The Xbox and PC versions CANNOT play together. You can only play with people on the same console as you. How2PK
Al right. I've been interested in this Orange box. But I have never played the Half Life games. Not even part one. Do I need to know part 1 before I am gong to play part 2? And what kind of games are they? Are they very scary or something? Is it a lot of rough action, or not? Could somebody give me a brief description of the game, without giving anything about the story away. I know I could look this all up on wikipedia or something, but it's nicer to hear it from other people you 'know'. Not exactly all rough action imo 2 was vehical dominated and wasn't like one.[/hide] But they are really great games and worth playing tbh. You don't 'really' need to have played the first for the second, however it will give you a little bit of background on some of the characters. The half life series is incredibly action packed by the way. Especially the latest episode (EP 2) there is very little times where something isn't going on. I'd strongly recommend it. If you do want to play through half life (1st) its really cheap these days to pick up, although not really needed to enjoy #2.

Hmm, my cousin who i gave my x box version of hl2 said it was a bit of a disappointment till he knew the story. And its only $10 for hl1/hl1 source or get the origanal half life anthology. I hope I̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâôm going to like it, but a game rated this high can̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâôt be bad. Well, it can. But chances are slim. nine naked men
I've ordered my copy and it should be arriving soon. I'm looking forward to TF2 and Portal mostly. They basically give it away. I don't know if I'm doing the instalation the right way. I bought it, and I got two discs with it. Now I installed Steam, and now I'm downloading the games via steam. But I think I also could've got it from the second disc in the orange box and I'm waisting a lot of time now. Or not? :P Man, I feel like a newbie.
