i think its for a glitch. Thats what jagex does, sends the WOM to the glitched place to tele ppl out if they get stuck.

Why would we want the fire out? Im interested on why you say that sophia seeing as your an arsonist. Perhaps trying to cause choas among the cooks? If so we have a lil cook rebelion :twisted:

Like it's been said, maybe a glitch, he was there for Catherby walk on water so maybe something there.

He is there for a glitch. last week people were losing their gems in the viewing gallery and had no way to get out. I was one of the people stuck up there.

Glitches that they haven't got around to fixing, but aren't very serious. Like when the thing to get into the sawmill place was removed, he was on one side, and someone else was on the other (forget who)

There was a glitch, someone posted on the rants part of the RSOF that they had got stuck in the watching area and there gem had vanished.

The most logical answer would be the same as those who have posted above me. Whenever players get stuck in a certain area, the WOM arrives to the rescue to save them. Kind of like how he's positioned near the planking area, because people sometimes couldn't find a way out.
