Sandwiches - FIRST PAGE UPDATED!

The Observer

Recommended Posts

I have been thinking about this and I think you should be able to make sandwiches as part of the cooking skill. You have the appropriate materials.

--

Buttered Bread (Level 5 cooking required): Use butter on bread. You require a knife to spread it. It will heal 5 by itself.

Shrimp Sandwich (level 5 cooking required): Use cooked shrimp on butter bread. It will heal 6.

Strange fruit sandwich (level 7 cooking required): Chop up a strange fruit and use it with buttered bread. It will heal 5 health and heal 15% run energy.

Cheese sandwich (level 10 cooking required): Use cheese on buttered bread. It will heal 7.

Peanut butter sandwich (level 12 cooking required): Maybe you could be able to buy peanut butter after finishing the monkey part of Recipe for Disaster. Spread the peanut butter on the buttered bread. It will heal 9.

Cheese and tomato sandwich (level 15 cooking required): Slice a tomato then use it on a cheese sandwich. It will heal 8.

Peanut butter and jelly sandwich (level 40 cooking required): Jelly should be made by using a strawberry on a pestle and mortar. Use jelly with a peanut butter sandwich. It will heal 11 and restore 25% run energy.

Salmon sandwich (level 42 cooking required): Slice up some cooked salmon and use it on buttered bread. It will heal 12.

Wine dipped bread (level 50 cooking required): Dip some normal bread into wine. It will heal 13. It will decrease your attack level by 2 levels but raise your strength by 2.

Tunafish sandwich (level 60 cooking required): Chop up some cooked tuna and use it on special bread (bought in chest after all RFD quests complete). It will heal 14.

Lobster sandwich (level 62 cooking required): Chop up some cooked lobster and use it on special bread. It will heal 16.

Swordfish sandwich (level 65 cooking required): Chop up some cooked swordfish and use it on special bread. It will heal 20.

Chompy sandwich (level 70 cooking required): Chop up two pieces of cooked chompy meat and use it on special bread. It will heal 22.

Jubbly sandwich (level 72 cooking required): Chop up a piece of cooked jubbly meat and use it on special bread. It will heal 23.

Monkfish sandwich (level 75 cooking required): Chop up a cooked monkfish and use it with special bread. It will heal 24.

Shark sandwich (level 90 cooking required): Chop up a cooked shark, use it with special bread (it will require all RFD quests done -- bought from culinomancer's chest) and sprinkle some spice on it. It will heal 30.

Manta ray sandwich (level 99 cooking required): Chop up a cooked manta ray, use it with special bread and sprinkle some spice on it. It will heal 35.

You may be thinking that the food heals to much. But, realistically, it doesn't. With the new updates making weapons more powerful and creating more powerful weapons, higher healing food is required.

Only the wine dipped bread will be F2P. The rest will be all members only.

Potion Sandwiches (members only)

You will be able to dip bread into potions and it will have 3/4 of the bonuses but it will also heal 10. You will need to have the required herblore level and 50 cooking to make each potion sandwich. It will use one dose each. It will also round down on the bonuses if it is a decimal.

Nice idea, but the sandwiches would need some kind of special incentive for people to use them. Maybe some kind of stat enhancement or skill boost? I dunno what, exactly, but something to think about to keep sandwiches from going the way of pizzas and such.

heck, I support, I'd buy a pbj for 20k if I had to, I just want a pbj... I'm hungry...

Still very good idea, maybe it could restore some extra health and they give really good cooking xp compared to the normals of things, then skillers would want to make them and there would be a sandwhich CRAZE!

Maybe you can add those fish egg potions to them so they are able to have potion-and healing abilities... just an idea.

miner's sandwich-

lvl 18 cooking, needs bread, strange fruit, and cheese.

increases energy by 5 percent, mining speed by ten percent, and hp by 4 hp [per bite], 2 bites.

more skiller sandwiches coming right up...

you'd have to dip it in dwarven stout.

OT: I think sandwiches should have 2 halves, so they are really good food, but they aren't broken in wildy. I'm not a pker, but wouldn't 17 health per bite and having 2 bites be better than 22 health per bite but only 1 bite?

I think you need to up the cooking levels on some of the lower things. I mean.. having a food healing 20 at 50 Cooking? I think that's a little too much.

But I don't think they should have some stat-bonus thing to make them more "appealing" and "keep it from going the route of pizzas". Nobody really uses pizzas anymore as they did in RSC, simply because they're harder to make and nobody buys them. But they're great for training, as a Pineapple pizza heals 22 in 2 bites! Not many people know about them.. and that's what I like so much about it. Also, tuna potatoes are a bother to make and get the materials before, but you don't see a "stat-boost" for them to make them more appealing.

:) I'll support if you up the cooking requirements a tad.

I read everything, then prepare myself to post, then see the last post, which is exactly what I wanted to post. It happens everytime I post. I always end up thinking up something that someone just posted. It's very annoying.

Anyways, the post above sums up my thoughts <.<

Matt: You want that eh? You want everything good for you. You want everything that's--falls off garbage can

Camera guy: Whoa, haha, are you okay dude?

Matt: You want anything funny that happens, don't you?

Camera guy: still laughing

Matt: You want the funny shit that happens here and there, you think it comes out of your [bleep]ing [wagon] pushes garbage can down, don't you? You think it's funny? It comes out of here! running towards Camera guy

Camera guy: runs away still laughing

Matt: You think the funny comes out of your mother[bleep]ing creativity? Comes out of Satan, mother[bleep]er! nn--ngh! pushes Camera guy down

Camera guy: Hoooholy [bleep]!

Matt: FUNNY ISN'T REAL! FUNNY ISN'T REAL!

Heals 35? lmao..

bad idea imo. Its stupid.

Imagine how many people would complain if Jagex wasted a weeks update on sandwiches? no, just.. no.

and wtf, a shrimp sandwich? fruit sandwich? it heals 25% of your run?

dude, this idea blows, 0/10.

No need to be rude. Present your ideas, and tell him the negatives.

I, on the other hand think it's a great idea, but the healing proportions are a bit too much. If you adjusted it to heal much lower, then I think you could include me in your support list. :)
