How old are the boys? If both children just went along, why not. I don't really see the problem. It's not like they didn't want to, right?

I don't know if you were being sarcastic or not, but I still agree with what you said.

If it's consensual and they are at an age were they can make the decisions for themselves, I don't think it is a problem. Incest is another one of those subjective morally wrong things. It's commonly accepted to be wrong, but not universally. You could make the argument that it is naturally wrong, as in it goes against nature, but I don't know if that is enough to conclude that it is morally wrong.

@How2pk: It's very unlikely that both boys were above 18, considering the mother is 35.

@indy: What do you mean by incest is naturally wrong? Once i had two mice. I thought both were females, but i were wrong. They started to reproduce at an insane pace. We tried to seperate the genders. Nevertheless i had over 30 when we finally managed to divide males from females. They didn't care at all whom they were banging. We put the mother together with all the female childs and suddenly the mother was pregnant again =/ Seems one of her daughters was really a boy. Mother with son, brother with sister. We had it all right in this Terrarium. (Once i also found a half eaten baby mouse, when i was cleaning the terrarium. That's another story though.)

It's not as if incest wouldn't happen out there in nature. It's just that it increases the chances of genetic defects. So inbreeding over a couple of generations definitely isn't a good idea.

I guess what I was trying to say was what you said in your second paragraph, about genetic defects. If all a species can do is breed with close family members, eventually there will be some crazy [cabbage] going on. But after reading your first paragraph I saw your point, it isn't exactly against nature either. Anyhow it doesn't matter all that much, against nature or not I don't think it is enough to make it morally wrong.

kelem_ryu you didnt just compared humans with mice? :?

No, i didn't (and i won't say anything else about it, because i don't want to get into this debate).

Morality isn't exactly natural in a way. Killing and violence are the most natural things in the world, yet they aren't considered moral. Once i saw a couple male ducks raping a female duck on discovery channel (well in the austrian version of discovery channel).

To me incest appears to be quite depraved. I don't know exactly why this is so though. Probably there should be a more pure love between family, yet i have a hard time with those two ideas "love" and "desire". In fairy tales you always got the idea of love completely bare of any notion of sex. Once i saw a peter pan movie with a scene in there were two fairies dance in a room filled with light. The scene felt so innocent and full of love. Then again we have this idea of desire and i don't even know if it would theoretically be desireable to have love without desire. Love... a most puzzling concept.

So that we live happy and peaceful lives.

But I'm sure the boys would say that they were living happy and peaceful lives by having sex with their mother.

They discussed it with her in the morning and both agreed it was wrong and for it not to happen again.

A friend to all is a friend to none.

Is she even a mother?

Anyway.. you got a point.

I wonder how long it will be before this topic starts talking about old cartoons from the early '90s.

And AWMAGWD, if my mother looked like that I'd probably be a rape baby. Or adopted.

My God. Have people lost all morals?

It's sick to think of a family member in any sexual way, and obviously worse to have intercourse with them. And their mother? For shame. :-k

I won't say this is immoral or twisted, just extremely societally incorrect.

Now that's disturbing. -.- :-X

I agree.

Also, the reason why this would be considered rape (even though it doesn't seem like it's forced) is because as the mother/parent, the mother has the power in their relationship. This power is invisible and hard to detect, but the dynamic is such that the mother has more social power than the sons; she could say "No, this is wrong" and the sons would simply believe that this is the moral way things are done. If a son says "No, this is wrong" the mother could easily coax him "well, it's not really that wrong, is it?" and there is a good chance the son would concede, because parents are taught to be their role models for how to act. This is a subtle but important relationship difference , and this is why statutory rape IS rape. The sons WERE coerced in a sense, whether they realize it or not.

(the moral value judgment associated with their being coerced is a different matter entirely, of course)

Everybody hug and spread the love :D

According to your subject morals this is bad. We already went over this once, it isn't one of those morals that you can say objectively that it is bad.

If that was someone's Mom, genetics would have probably given them good enough looks to get laid by people thier age doncha think?

Anyways, yeah, that honestly is disgusting to me, I would never consider having sex with my mom. never.

In principle i'm with indy and How2Pk. If it's a private act between two consenting individuals where's the harm? But those kind of acts are normally the result of some kind of psychological problems, so it's deeper than that in reality.

:uhh: Heaven to god, it would take alot to resist that hot muma

This whole issue really confuses me. From a genetic point of view, having sexual relationships with people from within your own family is obviously a stupid thing to do, since it limits the gene pool and leaves the species more susceptable to mass epidemics. But from a moral point of view, what exactly is wrong with it?

I'm kinda with assassin. I wouldn't say this is immoral - what two people together do sexually in their own privacy is entirely their choice, so long as both are consenting etc.. While this does raise some more psychological questions over how the two boys were raised in the first place, I just can't really see how this is immoral, apart from if they were underaged.

No, you said "Was she hot?". Which is innapropriate. Discussing whether or not she was good looking, could be an arguable factor in the occurance. If you would have worded it differently, and not have been seeking out some laughs - it wouldn't have been deleted.

That's pretty disgusting, but unfortunately in today's world it isn't anything too shocking. I'm just glad she got convicted for it. There have been people who have gotten away with crimes far worse than this.

I fail to see... even if you they were drunk, how they could do their mom.

Look, I'm not going to argue with you. I feel it was innapropriate and you were just trying to be funny in an un-funny situation. I'm not arguing about what is innapropriate with someone who was muted in game for offensive language.

first of all that mute was completely unjustified
