You can be lasered, rocketed, have frag grenades chucked at you (maybe not plasma or [bleep]e), tank'd, run over a field of trip mines or even be in the flying elephant and your shields won't even flicker. I have the French version (my English one broke) and it only speaks french when playing the campaign (during cutscenes/background voices/etc.). A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. I made this huge army at my first base stop, with seemingly all the advancements for my Marines, Warthogs, two Scorpions, and a Cobra, but no, it all got destroyed on my very first encounter with a Covenant base. Its a good game whether you like the Halo series or not. The skulls are pretty sweet, and the Halo timeline has told me things I've never known... I don't own an xbox 360, nor a xbox anyway. And, I've tried Halo 2 on my friend's xbox, not used to the controls, still prefer wasd. Plus it's expensive. Come to think of it, I think there's both graphic and regular novels for Halo. Both are considered canon as far as I know. There's no such thing as regret.
