Come to think of it, I think there's both graphic and regular novels for Halo. Both are considered canon as far as I know. The Halo Graphic Novel, I think, is mostly non-canon. Or at least the art is. The Scarab, for example, looks a lot different I think. The novels are canon, though. Command the Murderous Chalices! evil_mumm_ra Posted March 14, 2009 Share Posted March 14, 2009 on a side note, the halo 3 achievement "vidmaster challenge: annual" is a complete [bleep] to get. you've gotta beat the final level on legendary mode, with 4 people, the iron skull on (if anyone dies you go back to the last checkpoint), and you've gotta finish on ghosts. took me and 3 friends 2 hours and 20 minutes, probably close to an hour of which took place on the last part of the level with the exploding floor and crap. sarg1010 Posted March 14, 2009 Share Posted March 14, 2009 Yea there's The graphic novel, Halo: The Flood which is just the first halo with some extra snippets about what happened to captain keyes after he crashed, etc. Halo: First Strike, which tells about how M.C. gets home, slightly referenced to at the beginning of Halo 2 when gunny asks how they got home. Halo: Ghosts of Onyx tells about the training of new "Spartan-III's" that are deployed when a large group of people go missing on a planet named Onyx. Halo: Contact Harvest tells how the whole human vs covenant war started. Halo: Fall of Reach tells how the spartan II's came to be pretty much. Then there is Halo: The Cole Protocol, but I couldn't find a link for it -.- They're all good books (but I haven't read the graphic novel), The flood is kind of iffy because if you've played the first game, you'll know what this is. It seems ok, I keep accidentaly sending all my units instead of just the ones on my screen, then I worked out selecting all units actually selects every unit :P Havn't had much of a chance to play my 360 since I got it though. And, I've tried Halo 2 on my friend's xbox, not used to the controls, still prefer wasd. Plus it's expensive. No Halo 3 for the pc I think. Should I get the Halo 2 for the pc? Halo 1 trial was fun before i got an xbox 360, especially those "RatLock in Japan" games (I dont know if they had it back then or now). Register and post in this thread and give us your vid clips for our Failtage montage. It could show how badly you can fail, or how badly others you play fail. You get your name in the credits, and if even one person from Tip.it enters, forum.tip.it is included in the titles!
