The kid is only 11 and only wants a 1 month.

He is [bleep] FILTHY at the game and if I can be a General for pocket change I sure as hell will.

Again, WHY THE HELL DO YOU CARE ABOUT RANK? If you're not good enough to gain the rank anyway then if you get it by boosting you're doomed to constantly get your [wagon] kicked in matchmaking.

Because my account is messed up from me being so bad when I first got the game. And I want good partner who can carry his own weight?

And last I checked if you had a booster you still had to WIN your games, plus 42-50 isn't that big of a boost.

EDIT: oh and boosting is not illegal lol.

Halo 3 Banhammer Information

If you are checking this page because of an in-game message from Halo 3, it is likely that you have been banned from Halo 3s Matchmaking system for violating the terms of use and/or committing a code of conduct violation. It is also possible in the case of an especially egregious violation, that your Xbox 360 system itself is now banned from Matchmaking. The duration of this ban will be based on the type, frequency or nature of the committed violation.

In most cases, Custom Games will still be available. For extreme cases, they will not.

Types of violation include, but are not limited to, the following example actions:

Manipulating network conditions to give yourself an advantage, or to the detriment of the experience for other players.

Modifying your Xbox 360 hardware or Halo 3 software in any way.

Skill or XP Boosting, deleveling, cheating, habitual quitting or any other type of unsociable and unsportsmanlike behavior.

Impersonating a Bungie employee on Xbox LIVE with intent to defraud or cause harm to other players.

The following things will not result in a visit from the banhammer:

Lag (poor or intermittent network performance).

Occasional disconnects due to inconsistent network conditions.

Playing with the same group of friends over and over using the party system as long as this is not for the purpose of boosting.

Losing games over and over again as long as this is not for the purpose of boosting.

Winning games over and over again as long as this is not for the purpose of boosting.

Being polite, courteous and refraining from hate-speech and racial slurs.

The above violations cover a wide gamut of deliberate and obnoxious behaviors. The bans, when implemented are done so with rigorous checking to ensure that the innocent are not netted alongside the guilty.

Please note that while this process is automated, it is accurate. Bans are almost certainly legitimate, and will stay in force for their stated duration. To keep your matchmaking privileges in good standing, immediately cease any unsociable behavior and wait out the ban. Either way, there will be no response communication from this process.

IMPORTANT: You are ultimately responsible for the use of your Xbox Live account and Xbox 360 hardware. If a friend or relatives actions have put you in this position, please take it up with them, not us.

Alright, I don't have Halo 3 but if I get ODST will I need to buy Halo 3 or anything?

No, but buy Halo 3 anyway, it's worth it if you can pick it up for about $20-$30. It's been out for a while now, but if you can't get a new copy for that price you could easily get a used copy pretty cheap and in good condition.

Finally got a captain rank after playing Lone wolfs for 20 skill rank...I'm just going to stop there and keep the pain away Since my friends tell me 40 + is hell.

Also, can someone tell me when you get the Spartan Officer Achievement...Being a captain Grade 2 and almost being a Major, I still don't have it...

You should already have it, all you need to do is reach Lieutenant rank or higher...

halo sucks, its old, recycled gameplay. The campaign is a waste of time, you might as well just hop on multiplayer. Then when I shoot some 12-year old in the head I get spammed on the mic, and I just frag the [cabbage] out of him and he screams and cries. So, halo sucks. I might as well preorder some swearwords

Yeah dude quit trolling, no one thinks you're cool. The only people that think Halo sucks are the people who suck at it. If you aren't good at a game that doesn't mean it sucks.

Halo doesn't suck, but I'm not about to say that it's a very good game. It's an OK game I would say, something that is good for playing every so often. The main that turned me off it probably was of all things my friends. They love the game, but playing with them is just [bleep]ing ridiculous. Yeah, they're good, I can admit that, and don't have a problem with it, but they just whine and [bleep] too much when something happens that's just part of the game, like lag causing a headshot to not register, or something similar. They take the game too seriously.

Halo doesn't suck at all. All-time best multiplayer...

Throughout the years, the Halo campaign has been lacking, but it is still a great game.

I am a 50 in MLG, Doubles, Slayer etc...

I was on a Gamebattles team, and we were 10-2 then the season ended.

Halo is not a great game at all, it's just a big-budget game that got WAAAY overhyped. I'd call it mediocre at best. The only thing noteworthy of Halo is that it put console FPS'es on the map.

As far as graphics go, they fit the game, but they don't do anything spectacular. I'd really say that Halo is just more of a party game than anything else.

Whoever thinks that Halo has the best all-time multiplayer might have their opinion, but I seriously beg to differ. Let's see here...:

-Possibly some of the worst community I have ever seen in a game. So many goddamn little kids. But it's Xbox Live, so that goes without saying.

-The netcoding for the game is pretty bad. I have had cases where bullets just "vanished" entirely. I'd compare it to CoD4 pre-sniper patch in terms of bullets.

Halo is really nothing special. It's fun, but it's used the old tired tried-and-true FPS formula that was invented by the likes of games like Quake, Wolfenstein 3D, and Doom. The game really does not innovate or improve on the genre in any way, shape, or form. The storyline is generic at best, and still left me too many questions as to what was really going on.

You don't have a clue how bad you sound, do you? This isn't a matter of skill, it's a matter of a company not innovating and spending a huge budget on a game that really does nothing spectacular.

I'm going to get straight to the point: Halo is nothing impressive or special. If you want something impressive, look into games like Team Fortress 2, Half-life, and the like, which encourages what this game fails to accomplish: modding. But that's another story for another time.

I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal.

Something you fail to realize is that there's a reason it has so many fans. It's FUN. Saying that it has a bad community is such a generalization, most people you meet online are decent enough, and when they aren't it's just hilarious. The ONLY complaints I have with Halo is that killing enemies in single player is not as satisfying as it should be, and the price is maybe about $10 over the top.

It's was fun for me for the first... week?

I just find it hard to be entertained by it is all. The single player was alright, but I'll just say it's more of a party game than anything else. Most of the games I played had some 10-year-old who was seriously annoying, and it happened to me way too often to the point where I just turned off my mic.

Dude if it wasn't special it wouldn't be the best selling FPS of all time. Name 1 FPS deeper than Halo, of wait, you can't. Anything can happen, they've done a GREAT job of making new features instead of just expansion packs like CoD does. Yeah Half Life is OK, CS is better in my opinion tbh. Besides now you're trying to compare a PC shooter to a console? Of course you can't mod on Halo it's a CONSOLE game.

Oh and all the people complaining about the kids? If you where good enough to rank up you wouldn't be stuck playing with them anymore. Every thing people tell me is wrong with Halo is usually due to them sucking at it and not understanding the game.

While I agree that Halo is a great game FunPhish, stop treating it like it's the unquestioned greatest FPS of all time, it's really not. Half-Life and it's sequels are far deeper, with much better stories and characters you actually give a [cabbage] about. It's not just because of modding, Half-Life is the better game because of all that has come from it, mods aside.

Oh, and there ARE mods for Halo 3, and there will be more once it comes to PC in 2010.

Sorry but I have The Orange Box and HL2's campaign is pretty boring dude, when i'm rating a shooter the storyline is the last thing on my mind. Hl2 and Halo both have ridiculous and unrealistic storylines, whichever you like is completely opinion, not fact. And of course there will be mods when it drops for pc, just ebcause HL has volleyball and gun game doesn't make it deeper..
