October 1, 200718 yr I just saw an advert for a gold website on the RS world select screen. Heres pic. Sorry its a thumbnail, no idea how to use Imageshack and I couldnt remember what I used to host pics on. :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:
October 1, 200718 yr Report it, google controls those not jagex. Quit. PM me if you play The Conduit to exchange friend codes.
October 1, 200718 yr Most ad systems find key words, then does their own search, the top searches are transferred onto that banner, or a single search that has been specifically designated to be displayed that way gets displayed if the key words match up. Jagex has probably banned the links to all websites that give free gold or what ever, meaning they won't be displayed, though sometimes they just slip through. So don't harass Jagex over one ad, one ad which I've never seen happen since I've played. Jagex does too good of a job protecting its users from kinky sites, who would just ruin the game for you, and everyone else, to be bothered by something so small like this, it doesn't measure up to anything.
October 1, 200718 yr That's funny. Maybe that gold site is really run by Jagex to make more money :XD:
October 1, 200718 yr That's funny. Maybe that gold site is really run by Jagex to make more money :XD: Just like Jagex is behind the bots. :-k Extremely serious here though.

Yes, I took the time to copy and paste your tiny text in Word to reveal what you said. Interesting theory, but I really don't know about that. Sounds more like a conspiracy theory if JAGeX really is behind the bots. What's in it for them even if they are? Would that just give them an excuse to ban accounts? Retired Member
October 1, 200718 yr All you do is report it by pressing the white "?" by it. And macOS has really lame text rendering. Its not fake if you are going by the font. However runescape does not use google ads. EDIT: its not google, its goooogle lol

October 1, 200718 yr The worlds look fake i actually laughed at this when i came to it, its funny when you see a picture, you need someone to say something like this!! :XD: Maybe jagex WANTS us to cheat? or maybe they want to catch the people tempted in buying the gold and ban them :uhh: :ohnoes: Ex-Wilderness GuardianEx-Solace Retired from F2P clans indefinitely

October 1, 200718 yr This is just stupid. I'm sorry, but this website is probably the most popular one for buying RS gold, and Jagex doesn't even take the time to make sure it doesn't get displayed? Thats just inexcusable. Need assistance in any of these skills? PM me in game, my private chat is always ON

October 1, 200718 yr The worlds look fake That's a result of Microsoft's stupid ClearType for IE. I turned mine off. :) Never trust anyone. You are always alone, and betrayal is inevitable.Nothing is safe from the jaws of the decompiler.
