What are your views on people with long hair? Do you like it or not? Maybe you have long hair yourself?

 

 

 

I personally like long hair, and I'd like to grow my hair.

 

 

 

The thing is though, I want to go into the gardenng industry when im older, but working in the garden all day with long hair will probably make you all sweaty and uncomfortable. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Several people have long hair at my school. The school rule is, if it touches your collar then it is too long, i'm inclined to agree. I prefer short hair really as my hair is naturally straight and at a long/semi-long length it just looks stupid (gah, need a haircut this weekend!).

I usually always kept a pretty short and clean cut head throughout high school because of my dress code. But after being bald for a whole year I'm gunna see how long I can stand growing it out (got a good inch and a half grown so far :P).

 

 

 

And to answer your question, when I think of men with long hair (past shoulders) I think dirty. Unless you have awesome musical skeels to compensate and pull it off or something. That's not to say it doesn't work for everybody.

I've had long hair for the last two or three years now. Everyone in my close group of friends also does, our PE teacher calls us the Hair Bear bunch/ the Deep Purple Tribute band :lol:

 

 

 

Long hair is fun until its so long that it gets in your mouth when you're eating. I'm just waiting till I can throw the lot in a ponytail/ over my shoulder.

That, and I found out that gel works a little better on short hair... :lol: . May be obvious, but it's true- don't gel long hair, it's too heavy, even when it's just past your ears. Gel is for short hair, period :-w .

I got medium length but I decided to grow it since the last barber I went to said I'd look better with longer hair 8-)

According to my grade school, past collar length.

I generally don't like it when guys let their hair get really long because most of them at my school don't bother to take care of it very well so it's all frizzy/tangled and looks nasty. I don't have long hair at all. The longest my hair gets is an inch before I get it cut, but I usually get it cut by the time it's a half inch or so (then shaved down to 1/4 inch or less).

 

 

 

MY suggestion for you. Don't grow your hair out. If it brushes against your face a lot there's a chance the oils from your hair will cause a lot more acne. Plus, as you said, more hair = more sweat.

My hair is almost to my shoulders, so it is kind of long. I like it. :D

My hair is becomes kind of curly when I let it grow more than an inch, and it stands up in all weird directions, so I can't really grow a fringe or anything. Right now, my hair is about half inch long. :)

No but seriously, this topic is posted every month and everyone just says how long their hair is. Religion is debateable. But hair length. Just enthralling.

Well, I actually like girls with long hair, but only some guys look good with it. It depends on the hair itself. For example, if I try to let mine grow, it'll form some kind of shapeless mass, but your case might be different.

 

Just try it, if you don't like it, cut it.

My hair grows to the length of the lower edge of the shoulder blades atm. At that point it is really easy. You just can tie it to a tail. It won't get in your way. I wear it that way for about 12 years now, save for the time when i shaved my head. When it grew long enough i tied it again.

 

 

 

It depends on your type of hair. Generally spoken it shouldn't be a problem to tame your hair on the occassions you need it to get out of your way. Just be creative! A hair net, of course, is a no-no. You can however wear a bandana or how this is called - pirate style. Gel it if you must (personally i don't like gel), use hair clips or a hair slide. Yes they can look cool even on a guy, depending on the type you use. Baseballcap or a wooly hat are also options. That's just what i can think of atm. It really depends on your style.

i had long hair since year 7(shoulder length) and got it cut in year 10. My only regret is that i wish i got it cut a lot sooner i relise how stupid and scruffy i looked.

Short hair is a bit boring though (that may be because ive had it for the majority of my life). Long hair you can comb it and put it in ways that you want.
