jak722
The video viewing website known as http://www.tv-links.co.uk has officially shut down as of October 20, 2007. The site, which hosts links of videos from other websites like veoh.com or stage6 has more than 1000 shows, from music videos, anime, documentaries, TV shows and movies. Although the site itself does not host the actual files, British police have arrested the site manager and shut down the site. News article: http://business.guardian.co.uk/story/0,,2195407,00.html ---- Im not a frequent user, but the past few days, I have been watching some documentaries (some of which are soo old, they can't be found anywhere else) and anime when I have spare time in between my university classes, and at home. Fact is, the British police took it upon themselves after a few media groups complained and investigated the site. Man... I feel like its Suprnova all over again... All those documentaries... They were publicly released damn you! *cries* The Enrichment Center reminds you that the weighted companion cube will never threaten to stab you and, in fact, cannot speak. Mercifull
He will be questioned, he might get busted if he has anything on his computer but the actual site will be back up within weeks, If not another site will come along in its place. Such is the nature of the intarweb. Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. If we let players start doing this, it devalues RuneScape for others. foolgool
Damn! That's the site where I watched all of the first 5 seasons of Family Guy. :( The code in my sig should say 1032 not 0132.
Rainy_Day
I've never been to the site. But I did just hear about this from a friend. I'm sure it's annoying for many people. Seems England is cracking down on ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâé. They recently had someone prosecuted for sharing songs illegally online. :o ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)RIP Michaelangelopolous

Thanks for the link! :o It can be sometimes hard to find stuff if you aren't exactly sure what you are looking for, but overall it is a good site. Free and legal books/movies/music/ect... is always good :D . EDIT: Forgot what I was going to post Here is a list of 38 replacements for TV-Links. I still prefer just to get the shows from torrent sites, but whatever floats your boat.

GG Digg :( Well TV-Links was hosted in the UK, I don't know how many of the other ones on the list were. They can't arrest the owner if he/she isn't in the country. A lot of those were just as well known as TV-Links anyways, so I'm sure they already knew about them.
