Ah yes the Knights of the Old Republic series, I loved the first one, I didn't buy the second one (for some reason :uhh:) but if this true, I'll buy it. <3:

I also had to Wikipedia about The Force Unleashed game, I didn't know what you were on about :XD:

I am known only as The Seer. I have many names and many different forms. Cross me at your own risk, fight me at your own peril, but join me and fight by my side, and none shall stand before our power.

Owner of the Quest, Firemaking*2-12-08*, Fletching, Magic, Defense, Cooking, HP, Attack, Strength, Herblore, Summoning, Farming and Prayer Capes.

It doesn't really make sense to me...KOTOR is a story and character driven game, whereas MMO's tend to be grind-fests. Plus you can't stop time in an MMO or control a party. It just doesn't seem like it would be anything more than attaching a name to a Star-Wars based MMO.

Considering the franchises Bioware has right now... it could be a massive three way nerd civil war as Fallout, KOTOR and Baldur's Gate fans fight in wave after wave of guerilla combat to see their franchise get the MMO treatment.

Bioware will make it eventually obviously but they are already making Mass Effect and Fallout 3, seems like enough for now if you ask me.

EDIT: Was late at night, posted this then went to bed, i then realised it was bethseda not bioware who make fallout3 #-o

But i'd say it'll still be another 2 or 3 years before this comes out, they'll take their time making it.

Fallout 3 isn't made by BioWare, it's made by Bethseda, same people who made Elder Scrolls. Or are they somehow affiliated since I last checked?

Kotor = pwnosity. Kotor 3, pwnosity^3. Kotor MMO?.....I dunno. I'd rather play a stellar rpg that I could finish at my own pace than pay monthly for an equally good mmo. Just me though, an mmo might be a good move.

Life is a joke. Yeah, I don't get it either.

Good god I hope so, I have needed a stronger excuse to buy a new age console for awhile and seeing as I have beaten nearly every Star Wars game for Xbox this would be great 399$ is a lot of money though :(

Basing an MMO in the KOTOR universe wouldn't be that hard. If I remember there were a lot of Jedi's and such around that time, it would easily explain the influx of multiple people around.

It doesn't have to be incredibly story driven, I think the KOTOR universe would make a great MMO.

Any news on this? I actually just installed KOTOR I last night - starting to play that again once and awhile.

Was reading about the KOTOR MMO on the wow boards and someone mentioned this, which I totally forgot and found hilarious:

"Hey, there's someone in this locker!"

-1. What are you doing in here?

-2. Do you need help getting out?

-3. What planet is this?

-4. [Action] Stick lightsaber into locker."

ROFL
