rocketman089
Well if you're going to the Grand Canyon I can definitely tell you it's worth it. I think i've been there at least 4 or 5 times since moving here. If you want to shell out a few extra bucks and you go in the spring or summer, you'll definitely want to check out doing a pack-mule ride or a rafting trip. If you're going in the winter you'll just have to deal with a really killer view if there's snow. Have fun in the States :D Gamertag: King Arizona

Tbfgraphx14
It's bigger than the Eastwood mall, so you just can't swim to Miami :D Besides that, visit the mountains, maybe Yellowstone park. And Washington DC, that will only tkae you 3-4 days. Tbfgraphx14Happy to find I'm not the only one who eats glass.
martinisback
I live in canada, but ive been to the states a couple times. Some attractions might be places like Mertle Beach i've heard pretty good things about that, Flordia's beaches, South Carolina i hear is beautiful, and New York & Las Vegas, if youi're intrested in more 'classy' places. --Quit--(As of December 22th, 2007)

It usually won't be actual waiting, it will just be serving. The menu would be set already by whoever is paying for the event. As for tips, just be professional, speak confidently and don't say umm... or any other hesitation sound. dangeresque
Well, you can't really go wrong in any of the National Parks. I wouldn't bother with any of the big cities besides Washington D.C., Colonial Williamsburg, and maybe Las Veags if you get bored. Try to make it up into Alaska too if your going for the whole outdoors, scenic thing. Canadian Rockies are pretty too. Thats all i really know what to do. Oh and btw cars > planes. better way to see the country :D

warren211
Go to Chicago. Shed Aquariam, Alder Planetarium, Brookfield Zoo all right next to eachother, the famous Chicago combo. And of course, you gotta check out the view of Lake Michigan while you're there. Take a trip down Lake Shore Drive for an ownage view, a perfect place for romance, and definitely visit downtown Chicago. Home to the Sears Tower, one of the tallest buildings in the world, you can see 4 states from the top. All kinds of places to visit, and of course you haven't lived till you tried Chicago-style pizza. Come on down, Chicago's got everything you need :D [hide=]tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :( :lol:But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities. That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.[/hide]Apparently a lot of people say it. El_Tigre
Honestly, If you don't have a ton of cash, there are several great tours of national stuff and what not :) If you like that sorta stuff 8-) But if cash is flowing out of you pockets, go to some clubs if you end up in Miami  Best Thread ever I am amazing. Scorchedrose
Must do ideas? Giv eme all your cash  . Anyways really, go to Vegas, Atlantic City, and every other high-end casino city there is. Unless you have to be 21 to gamble here, it's either 18 or 21, I forget.... I wouldn't recommend Atlantic City, unless you do stay in one of the fancy expensive hotels. Since I'm sure those places have functional showers, cheap hotels... not so much. Also the ocean water you'd want to stay away from, cause the instant you go in you just want to run out and get to the nearest shower and scrub all your skin off. I mean it's still a neat place, but there's far better places to see. I'm no help in recommending good places though since i'm not well traveled. One place I did like that I went to was Washington D.C., I'd like to go there again one day since there was so much i didn't see. Plus i was young at the time so I don't remember much of it at all. Oh, and the legal gambling age in the states is 21. So which ever one of you two are 19 might not even be allowed on the gambling floor. At least that's the impression that I gathered when security IDed me and said "You can't be old enough to be in here". Sure shocked him when he saw I was 21. :P Hope this helped a little. ViolaWoman
If you go to Florida, a must see are the Everglades and the Keys, located in the Southern part of the state. This is coming up on the "Season" though, so hotel prices are liable to be expensive. A visit to Clearwater Beach is recommended, or Sanibel and Captiva Islands, which are located near Fort Myers, on the Gulf of Mexico. Miami is fun, but crazy and extremely expensive. I hesitate to mention Orlando and Disney World, "The Happiest Place on Earth!" or as I like to call it "Mauseschwitz" because it's extremely commercial and expensive, but some folks like manufactured experiences. If you're looking for work in the Food Services/Hospitality Industry, there are plenty of jobs to be had in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa Bay and Jacksonville areas. Anyway, welcome to the USA! Lemeja
Well I'm only really an expert on where I'm from so if you're traveling to Minnesota a must-see is the Mall of America, the second largest shopping mall in the world and the largest mall in the country. If you're into fishing Minnesota is the place to go with over 11,000 lakes :) Have fun!
Kill_Thomas9
I wouldn't reccomend california atm considering half the state is still on fire, but if you aren't going for a few months California would be fine if you don't visit the burned part of the state.
