palas1 Posted November 2, 2007 Share Posted November 2, 2007 Ok I have a pure and a main, and like everyone although noone admits it, i drop traded. then today, my pure got banned for password hacking (wtf?) and my main got locked. This seems to me that they think i hacked into my main to drop trade the cash, when, the truth is, i just drop traded normally from main to pure. Here's where you come in, I need help on what to write on the appeal... If you can help me I would be grateful...ty in advance, gongu. :( Well, if I am right, you can unlock account if you know recovery question answers and other details? Drop trading NEVER was legal, and neither was having mule accounts, interaction between characters belonging to the same player, character sharing, server hopping, etc. The rule against server hopping got canceled, because it's too hard to enforce. Just because its a different rule you got punished for you think that its all okay? they are imo both equally sever crimes agaisnt the jagex rules, no droptradign hmm k? Saying that however, it still is against the rules and should be discouraged. You unluckily got caught and punished, which is what Jagex should have done. It would also help if you don't even have many black marks. If you've been a good player up to know try to emphasize that you've never done anything bad and that you won't drop trade again. Like so maybe: Intro: Why you were banned and when Point 1 : what your actual offense was Point 2 : Apologise Point 3 : Acknowledge Point 4 : Tell them how you will be a law abiding player in the future. Conclusion : Ask them to unban you because you acknowledge what you have done wrong and plan to never do it again PS: to all those people who dont care about it why even post? Just pure spam and you like to take potshots at someone who is already down? I bet most people who posted on this thread have cheated a few times in the past, and maybe some do still... If you did cheat in the past and don't now you should sympathise with this guy because if you can stop cheating why can't he? And if you still cheat now then well... Hypocrite much? Even if you appeal it there's no way out of it as to appeal the current punishments you must admit to what you did. The only advice to you is : Don't break a rule just because you assume everyone does.
