How do I stay awake

I usually only get 2 hours of sleep a night.

 

 

 

Can I, like, trade sleep needs with you? Please?

Nah, I weigh 120 at 5'9. I never work out. My metabolism is just fast, I guess. My sleeping pattern is that I can stay up for at least a day and a half without being tired. I usually only get 2 hours of sleep a night.

Do you exercise after drinking the Red-Bulls? If not, I can picture you being morbidly obese(not being offensive or anything. I'm being serious). Drinking 2 cans of Red-Bull per day, with no exercise is like eating 2 slices of chocolate cake.

 

 

 

Red-Bull is designed for alert-ness and to keep you physically active, not to keep you awake. Some would say "Well, those two subsequently, do keep you awake". That's where they're wrong. Once you drink a Red-Bull, you will have a burst of energy for so-long (dependant on what you're doing), and then will have a period called a "lull". It's where it basically runs out, and you become very tired and very unaware; worse than you were before you drank the Red-Bull.

 

 

 

So, if you think drinking Red Bulls regularly has put you in a position where you are able to stay awake all night, you're probably wrong. If you drink them during the day, you're more likely to fall asleep earlier in the night. Your body wouldn't become accustomed(sp?) to it, as it cannot produce the ingredients designed for the energy burst itself. And sleep is a must for the body, so, it wouldn't keep you awake mentally, either. You might have developed a wider sleeping pattern, but that's about it.

Is it 1 hour per night = Insomnia? Or something like that, so... In effect, you're bordering insomnia? That's not good. I get atleast 6 hours of sleep every night. (apart from weekend nights) Sleep is goooood.

Be carful of caffine when your REALLY tired. It's sort of like playing a video game when youve been awake for 48 hours, where people who would normally never have a problem can have seizures becuse the brain is to tired to cope.

 

 

 

The shaking and what not can become more profound if you take caffine past a certain point. At night, DO NOT take any high quantity refind (mostly white) sugar like chocolate bars. It will wake you up...rigth before the crash (from an insulin [bleep]e) makes you sleep. Try eating apples or something, they have sugar too but its all mono-sachrides (single/simple sugar) whch migth not give the peack energy, but dont cause masive insulin [bleep]es either. Apple Juice should keep you going.

 

 

 

Now this last one will NOT work for everyone, but should work for most. Ritalin is preffered here, concerta lasts way to long and migth not work as well for this. Anyways Ritalin alows people to focus MUCH better. This helps ADD and ADHD people control urges to do stupid things (in some cases) and pay attention for a longer time. Ritalin is also used by university students to study for tests because it allows them to sit still for a LONG time and focus, focus, focus. It also keeps most people from sleeping because they cant stop thinking. Of couse some people who use it to manage a condition actualy cant sleep without it. As far as I know, it always seems to keep people who dont need it awake. Of couse you cant get it from a pharmacy cause its persription, but university students who use it will normally sell some around exams for a whack load of money.

I don't get it randox. You shun the idea of caffeines but then go on to say that Ritalin may work? And then go on to say you could just buy it from some person without a prescription?

 

 

 

Not exactly sound advice. These kind of things have prescriptions for a reason.
