I have a question about the campaign...in I think the second level where Nicholas is captured....do you just "use" the Russians to get to Nicholas? I played that mission at like 3 in the morning so I wasn't paying too much attention.

 

 

 

 

 

Also...In multiplayer I had heard a lot about "cage matching" gold guns...I read the description of Cage match and it is 1v1. So does that mean people just like set up headshots with eachother? Wow that's almost as sad as changing your language for Halo achievements. :lol:

Game is cool, but I just had 1 big gripe today.

 

 

 

I joined into a game on a team that was losing. Badly. I stepped in and won it for us. By 1 point.If I hadn't come in, the team would have lost, which is why the score chart afterwards pissed me off.

 

 

 

I went 17-5. But I came in second. The guy above me had 18-8.

 

 

 

Now I know it seems like it makes sense to rank based on score, but I was the real MVP here and this really bugged me.

 

 

 

I agree. MVP shouldn't go to the guy with the most all the time.

 

 

 

 

 

No it should be who gets most kills .. Dizzle didnt so hes not mvp.

There should be a more complex way to figure out the MVP. I hate when I've got alo of kills and just one or two deaths and somebody becomes MVP by getting 1 more kill than me but 10 more deaths. Lets face it, somebody who gets 21-19 is not as good as somebody with 20-2. Maybe taking off points when you're killed would make it a bit better.

Cage matching every gun for a golden one is pathetic, but there are guns that are really crap, that most people cage. Also people cage some of the stupid challenges like shooting c4s through walls to kill people.

All the sniper rifles are 1 hit kills, what bothers me is the inaccuracy of the damn thing.

 

Yeah, but if you miss, some rifles have an easier time locking on again than others.

 

 

 

I almost have fifth prestige. Level 52 of the fourth prestige. I'm using all of the guns unlocked later on in the game so I get them all out of my system when I restart my prestige again.

I found a cool site with a bunch of Cod4 Sigs and avatars you can use :thumbsup:

Played a round of TDM with Uga last night on overgrown (though he probably didn't know). Had fun crapping on him with my M40 :lol:

Ive only played HQ on Shipment twice and only did average, my friend told me the best way was just to hip fire an M60E4 with steady aim. Does that actually work or is it completely pointless?

Use whatever LMG you prefer, camp behind a car or barrel in one of the corners of the maps. Get 3x Frags, Sonic Boom, and Martyrdom. Stopping Power isn't needed for any LMG, and Juggernaut doesn't do much good when you're right above a live grenade. I say chuck grenades over the crates at strategic spots and try to get lucky. After you're finished 'nading, camp it out and get away from those ebemy grenades.

M60 does a huge amount of damage but is incredibly inaccurate and the crosshairs are terrible so you must use RDS basically ruling out the chance of using a grip for much more accuracy.

 

 

 

IMO a good LMG set up is RPD with grip as RPD has amazing crosshairs and is very accurate in bursts with the grip, 3x Frags and sonic boom or 2x Claymore and Sonic boom, sit in a clever camping position and set up Clays to defend you.
