There are tons more realistic games i.e. CS, RSV2 on high stakes mode, America's Army, DoD. Hardcore mode on CoD4. Sniper = 1 hit Assault Rifle = 1-3 hit SMG = 2-3 hit LMG = 1-2 hit Shotgun = 1 hit As far as I'm concerned that's pretty realistic, no kill cam either to give away where you were shot from, no radar high lighting where then enemy is whenever they fire their gun etc.

There's still UAVs, helos, airstrikes, perks, recharging health, almost zip recoil on the guns, still no need to aim for the head, SMGs can still accurately spray from the hip, snipers still don't have to go prone to steady their aim.
October 2, 200817 yr I would play CoD4 till my hands bled if it wasn't for two things. One is the fact that I can only do one thing: kill people. I can't make up mini games, play co-op online, mess around with friends, I can't really do much. It's just kill, kill, kill. This is good and all, if it weren't for the second thing. I find the atmosphere of CoD4 waaay to serious. I think this is because it's just kill, kill, prestige, kill, get the golden guns, kill some more. Everything is based on beating your opponent, there is no real opportunity to just relax with your friends and have some pure fun. Sure, it is a great game, but the feeling I get from it isn't right for me. I would say that Halo is better in this regard, that it fits my playing style, but that isn't the case. I'd say they are even. One has the feeling right most of the time, the other has the core gameplay. The only reason I play Halo more (Much, much more actually) is because of that feeling. If my personality changed so that I was fine with just killing, or that I loved the seriousness of the game, just like I love the casual, social feeling I get from Halo, I would not be able to stop playing CoD4. Simple as that. The game deserves it's Game of the Year award. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience.

One of my favourit things to do on cod4 is to create an old school game and explore the game's many glitches. Also if you can get enoguh people together sniper rifle-only fights are great.

Next game, Deathmatch on Countdown with R700, shot a guy who was pretty close then some other guy far away ran in front of it. Just call me daddy. One night while playing campaign doing Mile High Club I died and thought "Damn terrorists", and the message that came up when I died was along the lines of "One who has a noble purpose can not possibly be considered a terrorist." Funny.

It's also good for "bottlenose" camping, areas where a big open area squeezes into one narrow enough passage which most people run through to reach the other side of the map. Set up claymores to protect yourself, Use M21 with ACOG and just keep firing at people who run through the bottlenose. Such an easy way to rack up kills :

Its called being a marksman, infact M21 is officially a DMR (designated marksman rifle) not a sniper rifle

I suck at sniping, headshots are hard enough to come by for me... but DOUBLE HEAD SHOT? That's pretty amazing sniping in my noobish opinion.
