Thus overpowered, and very lame, They seriously need to fix it. Also once one of those morons gets 5 kills boom, they get airstrike and miraculously get 5 more kills, only because they died once.

Folmer what are you talking about? How is Matyrdom overpowered? Is it not common sense to say "Hey, he might have Matyrdom. Let's not go near his body for 4 seconds."? Youalso need 5 kills in a row to get an airstrike which means 4 kills alive + a Matyrdom kill does not get an airstrike. It is also extremely hard to kill 5 people with one airstrike unless your playing Sabotage.

Shipment is the smallest map in CoD4. If someone put an airstrike in the middle of the map you wouldn't be able to leave the side you're on.

If you are killed by the 1st plane DO NOT press X until you are force spawned. It guarantees that you won't get killed 3 times by the planes.

For me to use a Silencer on a weapon it has to feel/sound right. Seriously, nothing beats the awesome sound of an AK47 unsilenced. And when I attach one I'm [cabbage] with it. Same with the M14.

Yeah, you have immunity from Airstrikes and Choppers for quite a while when you spawn. I can spawn in the far side of Bog (with all the walls) just as a bombing commences and live, with the shells actually smacking down on top of me.

 

 

 

That being said, some Airstrikes/Choppers are incredibly dodgy. Being killed in the bottom floor of the Creek building is pretty AIDS, if you ask me. As is being killed through the tiniest hole in the roof by a chopper.

The maps are a lot better than COD5, for example in the Semper Fi level online (Don't know real name) it gets hard to actually see someone because it is so dark, people can also hide under bridges in the water in the dark, can get stupidly annoying.

 

 

 

The grenades in Call Of Duty 5 are pathetic. The Toxic gas makes your screen all blurry and mental, the normal grenades hardly ever kill anyone, the grenade danger indicator only shows when your very very close to the grenade and the flame grenade is useless.

Last stand lasts for so long its pathetic.

If your looking for a game for the 360 and already have Call Of Duty 4 I would NOT reccomend COD5; I would recommend Fallout 3 or Fable 2 (I haven't got Fable 2 for Xbox 360 but I have heard that its a great game and my brother has Fallout 3 for PC and it looks like great fun. :D)

Actually I think that this was the single biggest thing that WaW did right. I've returned to cod4 now, but when I played WaW I no longer had to put up with retards putting on 3xfrag and mortaring them like idiots. I'd actually say that at least 1/4 of my cod4 deaths are from randomly thrown grenades. Getting grenade kills on WaW is fine, they're used for what they're intended; flushing people out of cover. As long as you cook the grenades and throw them near somebody you'll get the kill.

 

 

 

But I agree that Tabun gas was a massive failure. For a start they have to be very close for it to affect them, and also they affect your own team. Quite a few times did I have greifers putting on 3x special grenades and throwing them at teammates. Also the worst thing about artillery is that the slowdown affects your own team as well. Flares are also just [bleep]ing [developmentally delayed]ed as well. Molotovs also fail at anything but HC. No74 grenades actually worked well though.

Artillery doesn't randomly fire. Its alot more realistic based on the time its from with rough co-ordinates.

I agree the only thing 5 did right was zombies and the assist system is a lot better. Oh and I like how you get points for killing dogs. In CoD 4 you should get +50 for killing a helicopter so that way people would actually try to take it down.

Just got my Barret .50 cal...I love it too much now, thing is powerful as hell with all the perks that increase damage.

 

 

 

Too bad you couldn't silence a light machine gun, the sound of it would make me laugh. :lol:
