I would assume it has something to do with being in an airplane, and that would mke it the epilogue, or death from above which is totally different.

agh I finally finished the game on veteran...To see that I didn't get the eyes and ears or look sharp achievements. I think it's because when I got one of the intel I enabled a cheat, so now I can't re-get the intel without a cheat, and may never get the achievement :cry: Help?

Same thing happened to my friend. He has find the 30 intel achievement but not the 15. I can't help you, just telling you you're not alone.

Well then, I've finally completed my goal. After a 3 days of Harcore (not the game type) Sniping I've finally done it. Achieved the Gold Dragunov. Boy, it took a long time, many sleepless nights and many cans of Red bull.

 

 

 

On Wednesday I managed to get just over 90 Headshots with the M21 which was the only sniper I'd not gotten far with. It was on 19 Early that day, but in just a few hours I had my headshots score up to 110.

 

 

 

On thursday I didn't really play much.

 

 

 

Friday (today) I was in the mood to kill. I quickly Created Class of my 3 Snipers that weren't finished (I.e 150 Headshots). I wasn't going to waste any time with this, so I only played the games that were good for sniping in (Backlot, Countdown, Overgrown. To name most of them).

 

Firstly, I got the first sniper (fail to remember the name) Up to 140 Headshots (it was on 113). Then, I played around with the M21 and got it to 140. After a short game of Overgrown (TDM) I had gotten the 10 Headshots left for my 150. *Phew* I was glad that was out of the way.

 

 

 

Then, my connection to the server was lost meaning I was returned to the Lobby. I entered, Said "YES" To myself as it was another game of Overgrown. This time, it was me with 5 other Non-prestige Rank 55's against 6 1st Prestige Rank 55's. It was Very easy. Staying in the house in one of the corners (not sure which, the one nearest the barn where most of the wall's missing.) I quickly got my Headshot by headhost and returend for cover. I Finished with the first sniper (again, failed to remember the name) And again, let out a sigh of relief.

 

 

 

Finally, I had 10 Headshots left for my M21. I got the 10 in under one minute, getting mea 15 Kills streak During the process. I Finishedh the challenge and I was very, very glad it was over. I Left the game which meant it didn't tell me what I had gotten. Then, I took this picture, (THE PICTURE IS NOT GOOD QUALITY!!)

 

 

 

 

The Barret was my first sniper to get Red Camo on, and probably my favourite sniper. Moment I hit Rank 49 I used it and by rank 52 I had gotten the Red.

 

 

 

Well then, that's the end of my Adventure. I'll be using my Golden Dragunov to get my Accuracy right up now.

 

 

 

Now that I have it, it's not all that exciting. I can, however go back to my old playing style (i.e no no-lifing)

I do too, but in my opinion it beats running around with an Assault Rifle.

 

 

 

I'm glad I kept with it and got my sniper. I absolutely love it, and so do the people on my team. I notice that each time I get killed the people pick up my sniper. Knowing I'm helping my team is great also.

 

 

 

Had a great game of backlot earlier. Was 17 kills and 0 Deaths, then the host ended the game early. I finished best overall. =D>

in my opinion cod4 isn't really balanced.. any noob can get a positive kd ratio there, just get an lmg and the martyrdom perk and rush in spraying everyone in sight..

Please tell me how often someone with an LMG survives by doing that? They're only very effective if it's a headshot or you aim at them perfectly. Spraying everyone in sight won't work, and will only mess up your accuracy big time.

I thought veteran was a ridiculous difficulty setting. You get behind cover for more than 5 seconds and 6 grenades land right in front of you.

 

 

 

Its like that when you're waiting for the helicopter in the last bit of One Shot One Kill. I hid in the booth somewhere the whole time where you're safe from them, I couldn't all the damned grenades landing around me on veteran. And I can count quite far.

Had an epic game with this kit, playing 32-man Winter Crash where I unleashed a torrent of 7.62x55mm rounds, killing 3 guys through a smoke grenade and when I ran outta Ammo, pulled out my Deagle and shot dead a further 2 people.

Get the silencer if you can. Half the time, you'll never need to use your iron sights. For best effect, play this on Wet Works or Showdown.

This can shoot a suprisingly long way for a SMG, and its very powerful.

Those are fair weapons. Honestly though, all you need in CoD4 is the M16, MP5, and the M40A3. I could go a whole prestige mode using just those three weapons.

i have a massive urge to play this now, dont know whether to buy or rent, ive rented it before, and now i have cod5, i dont know if its worth getting this, im going to make an assumption i think is pretty accurate - im guessing more people play this than cod5, on average theres just under 50,000 playing and when its busy around 90,000

I usually play on telstra servers because they're unmetered for me :D But these servers are usually empty or near empty these days :( I might start playing on Internode servers as they seem to have more players on them. Look out for Ryno when your playing.
