Probably right, But still, I'm not going to risk it...

I don't really see what you mean by risk it... OK there's a tiny chance that you might go into a game where people are using it, but then when you do you can just back out and play a different one. It's not like a virus or anything, you could play with these guys all day and the worst that would happen is you'd start getting annoyed at them...

Yeah because it's soooo risky.

Anyway...could the "ufo" have been done since day 1 of cod4's release? Seems like it would be hard as hell to mod on xbox 360 public matches, who ever discovered it and executed was a genius.

Yes, it was used back in April when the put the mod on bind commands. They patched that and recently people found you could bind it to configs too. And it isn't that ahrd to find or execute. It only takes a transfer cable and 5 minutes of work in Hex Editor =D

Wii version November 10th.

YES!!!

I shall take my flock underneath my own wing, and kick them right the [bleep] out of the tree. If they were meant to fly, they won't break their necks on the concrete.
So, what is 1.111... equal to?

10/9.

Please don't continue.

I didn't know that, sorry.

And Valeyard, it can't be worse than WaW. It probably has fewer glitches too, considering most CoD4 glitches seem to have already been fixed.

I look forward to this.

COD4 glitches were patched out. Treyarch will treat the Wii version of COD4 no differently than WaW on Wii and will give it no support after release. Even in the best case scenario, where Treyarch actually patch, you're getting a version of COD4 with (likely) 8 player maximum, limited amount of game modes, no voice chat, and PS2 graphics.

The only improvements over WaW are likely to be

A. Weapons are more diverse and more balanced

B. The Wii should have more maps as Treyarch wont have to cut out the vehicle ones.

Recognise that this is Activision just trying to squeeze some cash out of Wii owners with a cheap port.

I don't expect some super-awesome game, I know it isn't happening. I still love WaW, so this will be a great extention, plus everyone starts over with XP, which I really like. I'm just happy that we are getting a CoD game at all this year.

[hide=Just to get an idea of the difference in Graphic Quality]cod1_large.jpg[/hide]

If I said it looked amazing, I'd be lying. If I'm honest, I dont think this will be worth the money. But I think the graphics will be improved slightly by the time of release.

Heh, I have a Wii and a 360, and I can tell the Wii is NOT good at rendering realistic graphics. I mean the graphics in Metroid Prime 3 or Super Mario Galaxy look pretty good, but those don't really have 'realistic' graphics.

I didn't realise Cod4 was being ported to the PSP.

Oh wait...

Nah. The PSP can do better than that. That is truly terrible.

So don't let anyone tell you you're not worth the earth,

These streets are your streets, this turf is your turf,

Don't let anyone tell you that you've got to give in,

Cos you can make a difference, you can change everything,

Just let your dreams be your pilot, your imagination your fuel,

Tear up the book and write your own damn rules,

Use all that heart, hope and soul that you've got,

And the love and the rage that you feel in your gut,

And realise that the other world that you're always looking for,

Lies right here in front of us, just outside this door,

And it's up to you to go out there and paint the canvas,

After all, you were put on the earth to do this,

So shine your light so bright that all can see,

Take pride in being whoever the [bleep] you want to be.

It doesn't look THAT awful, but it looks like a high-quality PSP game, which isn't saying much. Although, without the advanced lighting and textures, All Ghillied Up is already destined to suck in on the Wii port.

Those graphics are great. Treyarch ceases to amaze me on how great they are. [/sarcasm]

Graphics =/= gameplay. 4 or 5 years ago people would be going insane over those graphics.

And in the present, graphics like that aren't really acceptable.

Edit: Just looked at the screenshots. Dear lord my eyes burn.
