Woo, I'd really love to go to Orlando, Florida in the United States during March 30th 2008. (Citrus Bowl, more specifically) That would be my dream come true if I actually went there. Lets see if anyone can guess what event is happening during that day.

Are you seriously trying to tell me that, if you could go anywhere in the world, you'd pick an arena 80% full of men watching other larger, beefier men wearing incredibly tight lycra flip around and land on each other?

None of you would want to visit Heaven?

Why bother? You'll end up there eventually. Unless you're going to Hell, in which case seeing Heaven would only make you depressed (knowing what you could have had).

I don't believe in Heaven, anyways. I'd rather spend my free trip on something that interests me.

My first option would be to travel to the future. I'd love to see our evolution and advancements.

My second choice would definitely be Amsterdam. :)

Yes, watching it on Tv is good, but it aint as near as exciting as experiencing it live. That will be my dream place...until Wm 25

Egypt, i just find something so intriguing about the culture and the history of the lands. I'd love to indulge in everything about ancient egypt. Admittedly not alot of it would be left but i think just standing near the valley of the kings would be amazing.

^^ I'd really love to go there too. Also, I wouldn't mind India either because I'm a huge fan of learning about eastern religions, medicine and philosophy.

The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.

Anywhere in the world you say?.... Hmm..... I'd quite like to go to Moscow for some strange reason.

If I could go absolutely anywhere, i'd want to go to Saturn's biggest moon, Titan, in some kind of suit that would stops me from freezing solid in the minus 174 degrees celcius atmosphere and go for a swim in an ocean of liquid methane  .

Lots of people want to go to Japan but I don't think they realize how much of an outcast they'd be there. :XD: I guess I'd like to go there too but not if all the Japanese will stare at the black guy.

I've been twice to Japan and still learning the language (since 2000).. I can easily say they treat foreigners with genuine hospitality (though the younger folk sometimes start whispering stuff if you stay around them).

There aren't many permanent foreigners living in Japan yet, but the number is growing all the time. Maybe about 10% of all shops are western in the Shinjuku district of Tokyo (which is pretty much the most commercially active place in the whole country) and the big majority, maybe 70%+ of hotels are owned by western companies.

But if you don't know *any* basic japanese, or can't remember even a single Kanji/Hiragana/Katakana sign, you could be lost very soon even with a map.. Fortunately, nearly all younger Japanese people can speak English to a degree.

Kanji/Hiragana/Katakana

What?

Guitar_by_Lemeja123.jpg

Kanji/Hiragana/Katakana

What?

Japanese characters.

The Japanese language has three sets of characters - hiragana, katakana, and kanji.

...

The Japanese language didn't have written characters two thousand years ago. After contact with the Chinese, the Japanese imported Han characters, which are called kanji in Japanese.

...

Kanji are ideograms, i.e. they stand for both meaning and pronunciation.

...

Hiragana and katakana are called kana. A kana stands only for a sound, unlike a kanji, which stands for a meaning and a sound.

...

Hiragana are used for Japanese words, while katakana are used for imported words.

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

Europe for sure.

Tried learning Japanese with my dad. We're still doing it, but it's pretty hard. :P

Why didn't I think of that? #-o It would be awesome to see the hexagonal storm on Saturn, or fall through Jupiter.
