Peronix
ya, and thats form how long ago? There are less than like 5% of the population on RS are girls, characters don't count as people scam with being a girl. There is NO way to find out how many girls/boys visit as an I.P. address doesn't have a girl/boy part. And the majority or people are from 35-44?!! WTF!? It is really like 90% of the visitors are from 11-17. Household income... Ya, NOTHING to do with RS... Asians are the most ethnic visitors... Bots. And could they REALLY check if people are linked there or regular players? I bet that is just for getting on the front page, it's really that all of us go to the game, not stay on the front page... I believe the site got it wrong... WAY wrong... As I said before, the bar graph is the percent of the internet average. There may be 200% more Asians on runescape.com than the average website, but as the pie graph in the demographics tab shows, 82% of visitors are Caucasian (white). I am a bit confused myself though how they know all of this. More females? Hard to believe. The majority of players I see hanging around edge and elsewhere are male characters. I have encountered also numerous female players in FPS games who use voice changers to appear as male on the team radio.

God, it would be scary being a female on Xbox Live. Having to deal with 14 year old hormone driven moronic males thinking they're scoring on a female in game because they think they pwnzord somebody [when in reality they just got a lucky kill and then got completely murdered for the next three minutes until they DC'd]. That would be hell for the chickas. [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series. xpx
This is most likely based on the house-hold, pretty logical that children don't pay for their own internet connection and so on, so the sex figures are not dependable, more than 85% of players are still male. Randox
If you lived in a single person place (ie your not married, dont have kids) than it would be no problem for FBI, or CECES (don't know if thats correct spelling, its the canadian equivalent of FBI + CIA) to track that kind of thing. But for this website to know goes beyond the relm of belief. The FBI can track it because your ISP has to know exactly who you are and what your ip is. Tonis
alexa.com is more interesting traffic detail site imo :)Just checked Alexa. Never knew there were so many Lithuanians and Estonians playing :anxious:. It says the top 5 runescape countries by perentage of traffic base are: 1. US: 24.4% 2. Lithuania: 9.4% 3. UK: 6.1% 4. Estonia: 5% 5. Canada: 4.5%Well, it's becouse you probably don't know how Estonian sounds. It's the language you always see others speaking, having ÃÆÃâÃâö, ÃÆÃâÃâü, ÃÆÃâÃâä and ÃÆÃâÃâõ in it (hearing last one, you know it's not Finnish) :P Sorry about the statistics and the thing we live to play :D

berbatovsky
I use maaaaaaaaaaany different virus scanners and anti-adware software so i pretty much delete all tracking cookies every couple of days. I'd imagine I'm nowhere near in the minority there so these statistics still don't mean anything(I'm aware what tracking cookies are and what they do, BUT why are random companies able/allowed to compile and distribute this information?!?!?!). Its funny(in a horrific way) how the corporate machine is sooooooooooooo desperate to analyse our internet habits in a vain attempt to make us buy stuff. Freedom, yeh the freedom to be bombarded with adware and malware, thanks corporate buddies. \
