December 7, 200718 yr Being wealthy has its advantages. Being able to train any skill anytime, the best armor, ect ect no need to go on. But what happens when people think that you think your better than everyone just because of what you wear and not how you act. Personally I object to this. It happens to me so often. At pits, Im the 1st to die because I am wearing my 3rd age and armadyl gs. When I walk around with nothing but my Pray cape on during a farming run, I get followed and scrutinized. Now I will tell you I made alot of my money staking and I am proud of it. But almost all the time I get the comments such as, Nice Credit Card, and so on. Im not here to show off, im here to have fun and use my resources that I have to do so. Discuss your past experiences with this subject and what your thoughts are. 108th to 99 Prayer
December 7, 200718 yr I don't know. Is this recent behavior? I've never been accused for RWT because I was wealthy. In fact, people loved it when I showed them hordes of items (back in 2005..)
December 7, 200718 yr Well it seems like tip.it hates stakers so prepare to be lied to when they say they dont hate you  ^^Click For Monster Hunting Blog (180M+ in drops)^^
December 7, 200718 yr I too haven't really ever called a RWT trader, but of course I have been called other things. Noob seems to be the most common insult people have, not really sure why. They should at least be more creative. Well it seems like tip.it hates stakers so prepare to be lied to when they say they dont hate you  I don't think that many people here hate stakers.

December 7, 200718 yr People suck in general. People are [wagon]es in general. Sarcasm is your deadly weapon here, however. You can ultimatly destroy someone's point AND embarrass them, and make them look like a hypocryte at the same time. Lovely. Pretty much done with rs now

December 7, 200718 yr Maybe because you got your money with very little real effort or time and they worked hard for their skills and levels to make money? Note: I was a staker myself... I have nothing against stakers. [/bads]

Because people are jealous of your items because they could never get them without RWTing, so accuse you of cheating to get them. That is not true. They could get anything they want without RWTing, it just takes considerably longer. Basically, people are lazy, impatient, and sadistic. Currently will be using my Oni Tsurugi account to attempt to get 99 on all free skills without spending any gp, just for the sake of doing so.

December 7, 200718 yr staking takes time, and effort you could lose just as much as u gain it also takes experiance and a u have to be smart Back to the old staking is soooo much skill !!! Every half-decent staker use the same technique as every other half decent staker +. Many of the high stakes such as rare stakes have been done with no armor/food anyways. I think we both can agree that when you are going past the 0 - 1mil stakes it is just about gambling and routine. (Explanation for the slow folks: at low level stakes you seem to be getting into a lot of different types of people, people that don't have optimized equipment etc. But when you pass the 1mil staking mark you seem to meet opponents that just use the exact same techniques as yourself, or techniques that are just as good) Perhaps you should be "respected" for the balls you have when you enter a big stake. But then again. Do you respect a man that puts his life savings on a football match etc in real life? Staking is all about win big or loose big. The quickest and easiest way to riches if you have luck by your side. Skilling is all about the small gains. A slow but 'easy' path to the riches. And you don't need much help from mr. luck either. Who deserves most "respect". I say whoever have used the most time to get that blue party hat is who to "respect". Now I respect everyone anyways but if you really can't do that and must choose, then I say go with the skiller that have invested tons of working hours into the game, rather than the lucky gambler. Important note: This is not about Pk'ing. This is about duel arena staking. (No longer possible) 21 lag piles, 4 Pjs, 2 Party hat kills, 67 newbs teached.

He might be jealous or not but there is a point in it, Some rich people act like real jerks thinking they are better then everyone else and I'm also really tired of this.

Back on topic, and to help add to discussion, I don't like or dislike stakers. I know that as many of them have won, there are also many of them that have lost millions. I have less respect for a staker than a skiller since skilling takes more time. I also hate it when people accuse me of RWting, I mean can they at least ask how I got my money?
