Is stressing me out 50x more than all the latest updates ever could, everywhere i go on runescape, every runescape forum i go to all i see is this.

Jagex have told us they're working on sorting out the problems in the best way possible so would everybody please calm the cabbage down a bit and just play?

 

 

 

Instead of this PATHETIC rioting you could be enjoying other parts of runescape.

I'm just kinda annoyed atm, i have no more school till after christmas and don't have much else to do but if all of this continues for the next month i'll probably end up quitting myself.

I'm fine with the updates for the most part. Some aspects annoy me, but life isn't fair. Crying about it won't help, so I won't bother. It's sad to see so many players quit, but if that is what they want to do, so be it. I agree, it would be nice if people quit or complained without announcing it on every forum, even though it relates in no way to the discussion.

 

 

 

Everyone has the right to their own choice, but should not attempt to force it upon other individuals. This does seem like a lot of other threads, so I am unsure whether or not it will stay open. It's best not to let something like Runescape stress you out.

I was unhappy with them at first, but I am getting to like them only one I am not that happy about is when Jan comes and trades are screwed I was always one for lending out my Guthans and or sets to my friends but now I wont be able to do that which is sad..

 

 

 

But on the hole if this Grand Exchange sorts itself out and when the market stabilizes again I think RuneScape will be better then ever.

That's the exact thing that irritates me most, they are too ignorant to realise why jagex did these updates and why they won't be restoring unbalanced trade. I really don't mind what people discuss, it's just when they are that ignorant it just annoys me, why can't people work with jagex's ideas and improve them? Why does everyone want the wilderness to be changed back exactly how it was when it obviously won't be?

There's this one item scammer in my clan (oops, I mean 'merchant'), he keeps advertising and glorifying riots on the clan chat, IRC, forums and anywhere else he can! Because people aren't all rational thinking beings.

 

 

 

For a lot of people, they have spent a lot of time and effort building their character solely for one purpose, and one purpose only. Now, without any form of consultation or approval from the players most directly effected, all the played for is stripped away.

 

 

 

Sure, it's easy to sit back and say 'lets think about this'. But for a lot of people, this was simply a kick in the nuts.

 

 

 

When I get kicked in the nuts, my first response isn't usually 'Now, let me try to understand your reason's for doing that, and work with you to fix the problem'. [Maybe it should be, lol.].

Think of it like this, lets say you get gang green in your leg and you have to amputate it to save your life.

 

 

 

now lets say runescape is a body made of its players and runescapes leg gets gang green(rwt'ers), so it gets amputated, but new players will come in and regenerate that leg so its ok.

 

 

 

If the ranting pkers quit it's basically out with the old and in with the new. The people who stay will have to adjust and the new players wont even know how runescape was. I liked wildy pkin and helping friends/random people with free stuff but now i can save up for good stuff now that i cant even go 3k under/over so i guess thats a positive out of it :P

 

 

 

I'll stay and adjust, i wont rant and spam or complain, just offer suggestions and feedback which jagex like.

My mind is often over-ruled by logic, which tells me that enough people quitting will atleast smite Jagex and give them a wake up call; even if old RS isn't restored.

 

I still feel that RS has the process of leveling now, but with not much to gain from it if you ever do reach 99 mage or range (duelling, Pking, fun gone).

 

This goes for hunter, fletching, rcing and many other non-raw material skills.

 

 

 

Without duelling i'm brought back down to a mortal player, even with 30m Fletch and hunter xp, and 99 mage. Those skills earn no money any more, compared to raw material skills now, which i find boring.

 

 

 

My fun was always wih the money, levels, ranks, skill (at duel arena, effiency, innovative ideas); but the real fun came with gloating and being a general cocky, friendly guy with my friends, and random people (soon to be friends). It was all about going up in the world.

 

Now i have nothing to gloat about because i can't duel, i can't make enough money to be above the average player (say 500m?) and i'll never be a patch on some players.

 

Therefore i have little starting point for talking to new ppl, and very little i can do in game that won't make me think of the good old days back when this was profitable.

 

No-one ever rises in the world without excessive time being spent.

 

Duellling, and other skills which were nerfed by the side -effects of the updates, don't make you rise in the world any faster.

 

I am permanently stuck at the above average standard of character, so i'm quitting because i'll never be anything more.

 

 

 

Anyway, i seem to have gone and become a complete contradicter of this thread by ranting about me quitting (lol) but never mind hey; it gives you an example of the people you all know and hate. :XD:
