Skilling0wn
Pinguim, Race me to 99 Woodcutting : But cooking, Fletching & Thieving is the easiest 99's ingame.
Theboy1001
Cooking, fletching or firemaking. It can coswt as low as 4m, and requires no skill. You could get it in a week if you train enough RSLinkss! A new RuneScape forum! PM me for details.
M6c_Magnum
Well, since you get bored easily, I'm going to have to say go for Slayer or a combat 99... Or consider Thieving, it's not as repetitive as others [/bads]
lcchs
you should train agility since its completely free and probably one of the faster skills
pinguimmaiden
Agility is not fast, and i hate it.....I will go for 99 thieving  Its fast and not boring :
ultimatballr
Cooking, fletching or firemaking. It can coswt as low as 4m, and requires no skill. You could get it in a week if you train enough 99 FM from her current level (53) would take 143k willow logs. At 20 each thats about 2.8m (2,864,000 to be exact) Max burn per hour is generally known to be what 1k an hour without distractions. (I'll make distractions a 2% decrease from 1k an hour) So your max logs per hour is what 1k*2% = 980 an hour. (not much of a diff but it adds up, trust me) At 980 an hour it would take about 145 hours to complete. Seeing as how there is only 168 hours in a week, I would say no you cant get it in a week unless you got 3 hours and 20 mins of sleep every night and spent the rest of the day fm'in. HIGHLY unlikely. ---- OT: :P Fletching, Cooking and Thieving are among the fastest 99's. Cheapest: Thieving, I would have to say is, the cheapest since you only spend money on lobbies and anti-poison pots (if you didn't do Great Brain Robbery quest) and if you save all of your gold artifacts and bank them, they can help pay for some of your supplies. Fastest: Cooking is by far the fastest Cape to get in the game. Once you hit 94 you can be netting over 200k an hour cooking sharks with cooking guants. Up until 94, do lobbies or if you have money to burn you can do sharks at 80-99 but you will burn ALOT and that is losing ALOT of money. Apparently, my signature was to big. mawd_luva
you should go for your favorite skill as a 99... not the easiest. Dont do fletching and cooking!!! I myself will work on theiving
Rahila
I think you should just take it easy for the rest of this month, don't play a whole lot, then go for 99 summoning in January, thats what im doing after i get 99 theiving :) http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/
icecube
Summoning won't be a "gathering" skill though so you'll need a lot of money if you want to try to get to 99 amongst the rush of players also going for it.
Fusionxx
Well First off since you wrote you already gave up on Hunter in the 70's that's not such a good sign, 99 is true dedication and hard work, but if you have determination you can sure achieve it. It's good to work hard when you can but don't go overboard thats how you burn yourself and end up quitting, work at a steady but relaxing pace, and before you know it, you got your 99 skill! RichieMcD
TBH man if you cant even get to level 85 (25% towards any 99) then a level 99 isnt for you..... period Even cooking or fletching would take about 3-4 times aslong as 71 hunter takes.... also they require money to get aswell Im also guessing you only want the 99 for the skillcape so First of all nobody really respects easy 99's anymore (I.E. cooking or fletching) even though it is still a achievement Second of all what sense of achievement will you get from having a pixelised cape on your back which you know was easy to achieve? rook_2222
cooking, fishing,wc (afk) skills. FISHING? Are you kidding? Fishing is so boring, and it takes so much time. I only have 64 fishing, and I have given up on it. If you have the ressources, cooking or fletching are the easist since you can "buy" the 99. By buy I mean buying the food/logs. F2P for life :D

Agreed....I notice your 90/99 woodcut, Good luck on 99 =] Their really isn't a true "easy" level 99 even the skills that seem to level faster due to the ability to gain more xp at a faster rate still are no walk in the park in gaining 99. However Like Stated If there is an "easiest 99" it would be a toss up between Cook and Fletch...Still it takes a lot more effort then 71 hunt...I'd set goals for yourself, try to achieve 10 levels then see how you feel possibly take a break and shoot for 5-10 more levels, and repeat until eventually you break over 13m xp for 99 =)
