Hard to understand what motivates some people these days. Today I was logged in but briefly.. I walked over to the slayer tower to do some research, and some guy coming from the other direction passes me by. As he does, he says "ur an idiot" out of the blue, for no reason. Boggle.

Well, probalby he just felt jealous and felt that he needed to say something back. But that doesn't really explains why he called you a nerd when he is the one.

Wow, you got called a "nerd" for dominating in an online game. I've never seen something like that happen :shock:

He probably got frustrated that you beat him at something and felt like flinging an insult your way. Some people feel that instead of shaking the other person's hand and being polite about it, anger is better. They think that because you are better at something than them you must be gloating about it. And then we have people who are just angry at you and want to try and insult you. Runescape is full of these people, just ignore them.

Eh, people are idiots. Today at clanwars I was teamed by 20 or so people mostly my level or lower. So, because it's the logical thing to do, I turn on my prayer. Then I get called a prayer noob. So i attacked the person who called me that and they turned on their prayer. Hypocrisy forthewin? Then I start taking a good bit of dammage, and I have a full load of lobbies. "Why not use them if I have them?" I thought to myself. I eat a few and what happens. "Omg fatty!" "Haha u fat" "Eater noob" "To weak to win without eating". So I ignore them and keep doing what I'm doing. I kill maybe 5 or 6 of them and then run out of food. "So I run and hug some trees and rock walls. Of course, this makes me a "runner noob" and I should "fight like a man."

Heh, i hate some of the people who play cwars. I go there almost everyday (Cwars ftw!! : ) and every game i get piled.. usually by loads of lvl 80/90s. Then they start saying things like "nub i own u" and "im lower an pwn ur ***", something stupid like that... ok then. I usually kill 5 or 6 of them then just let them kill me 8-)

Same happened to me, I was getting 70 cooking on tuna via Skatepanks's method, and a lvl ~44 (Mine 88) walks up with his buddy and calls me a fruit cake. (There's probably more to that than my innocent little 13 year old mine can handle)

 

 

 

Anyway we got in an insult fight... I forget most but eventually I won, he said "your so stupid u think your insulting me" and I reply, "You're so stupid, you don't know you've been insulted"

 

That shut him up.

Yea, nerds are people who have a pretty vast intelligence, but it's usually used as an insult. Most people think about a short, asmathic guy with out-of-trend clothes, big eyeglasses and some books under the arm, like in the old school days.

And ironically (sp?) , calling someone a nerd (or any other insult) denotes the astonishing low I.Q. they have. They're generally underaged kiddies who cry to mama when they dont get a goblin mail for quest after killing 5 goblins, or think that everyone but him/her is a super noob and don't deserve to breathe the same pixelated air than he/she. Pityful.... :notalk:

 

 

 

The most reasonable thing is to ignore them. Noobs usually have a skill to fight back any reasonable -or not so reasonable- thing you say. Let them talk and talk and talk, as long as you know that what they say isn't true, its ok
