does shark work in solo maging, or any other alternative besides pots?

I tried it tonight with 3 friends. Two of us hybriding Sup and Prime, two maging rex.

 

 

 

Half the kills we were more than the 15 or 16 tiles apart so we wouldn't see the drop... the other half the maging rex's would ALWAYS get our supreme/prime kills

 

 

 

Hella annoying, so we decided to make two CCs, two doing mage and two hybriding together.. isn't a permenant solution, but atleast get all the drops.

 

 

 

On topic: Congrats on the axe, haven't seen one in quite a few trips...

You prolly had to split that though, while myself all i had to do was pay a suicider 100K and i got to keep the rest. 3.7M Profit if i wanted to sell but i kept instead :).

No, brews are usful cos of the def, helps from the spinys so brewing is quite ideal. -.-

anyway their food supply quickly ran out and i was left maging rex on my own...got 2 berzerker rings in that trip with the 2nd ring from the LAST rex i killed 8-) a cool 5.6m

You dont really have to worry about rex as long as you stay on the outer edge of supreme's spawn. Usually if the mage comes near the middle and pulls rex a little bit at the start he will come all the way over without bothering the hybrids. It isnt always on the mage to keep rex off the hybrids, good communication makes it most efficient.

they might have been on a fast world, or maybe he doesn't time it like that. Either way, if the new guy didn't liste to the instructions of the mage trying to time his kills so the hybrids didnt run out into a death trap, it really isn't the mages fault now, is it?

 

 

 

anyway, nice drops. i've never soloed, but I really want to give it a shot. There are a lot of times I want to go and some people that i DK with are never on.

why pick up a steel plate?
