Guest
If F2p players like myself could only wish for one thing it was for the respect from people that pay for the game instead of always making us feel bad or ranting at us. Aren't we all players inside runescape? I don't need no fancy skills, I don't need nothing all I need is some darned appreciation from my fellow runescapedians. Shame on you who think free to play i just a bunch of noobs whining about everything. :shame:
sycosis5
Well if you don't pay you don't get alot of content, but F2P don't get stuff that could easily be in F2P.

reaper88888
Truth is, you have to pay for more content. But trust me, I tried it.. It is horrible, and it lets annoying people artificially inflate their cb level. There is no meaning or truth in life but that which we create for ourselves. All_Is_Great
As an ex-pure f2p'er, I say: f2p really started to get boring once they took away PKing (and by PKing, I mean old wildy, not messed up BH), but we really didnt need new content, and I doubt if they gave f2p summoning, f2p'ers will be able to train it efficiently (ex: gathering charms, there's no rock lobs/waterfiends/slayer). Now as a member, I say: do what I did and get members if you think f2p is getting boring, the $5 per month is more than worth it tbh.
tard53
Jagex already said that no big updates (skills, quests etc...) will be given to non members. They have already given a bunch of minigames such as clan wars and duel arena, and the grand exchange. They should be happy they got the grand exchange at all. I hate these threads saying that non members get nothing at all. -.- pay the 5 dollers would ya?
being_true
dude this rant is just stupid f2p is jagexs way of giving players a demo of the real deal p2p pays for their weekly updates and f2p gets what they get free they could just charge everyone so i think f2p has enough 98% Of teenagers surround their minds with rap music, if you're part of the 2% that stayed with rock, put this in your signature, ROCK IS BETTER! Omali
Truth is, you have to pay for more content. But trust me, I tried it.. It is horrible, and it lets annoying people artificially inflate their cb level. It doesn't "artificially inflate" your combat level, just because you don't like Summoning doesn't make it a fake skill or fake combat levels, they're real combat levels Jagex added speficially for the skill. What a stupid thing to say. And as for what mauranius said about members, threads like this are why many members hate f2p'ers, people like the thread starter with a sense of entitlement for something they don't even pay for. Oh, gee that isn't stereotypical. Just because the loud annoying handful act like morons, you stereotype every F2P player as a stuck up snob who feels entitled to everything. If I stereotyped every P2P player by how they acted on the RSOF and on various fansites like tipit, I would have a very low opinion of all P2P players. You must have misread his post or something, because he was only saying that this is the reason that these stereotypes exist. In fact, he was agreeing with Maur - who is F2P. Excellent job not getting my point =D> , and reinforcing yet another stereotype that f2p'ers are hot headed, immature, and ready to attack someone over a false presumption. Really, you're a trophy case for your fellow f2p'ers, they must love the image you're helping put forward for them.
killerbeer0
You get what you pay for, quit whining. lol, i am paying for it but its not really fair. Not fair? WTF? Califobia
members dont get benefits, thats what your missing. we get the full game. its not benefits, its the game the way its meant to be. f2p is a demo so you shouldn't expect updates.
RSBDavid
If jagex released updates like that for free players, then more members would basically think "Why be a member if everything I want/use/need is available to free players?" Stefto
p2p pay for playing, it would be unfair for p2p if f2p gets a new skill (thats what i call rip-off). besides that there are some real game-o-holics out there (hear who says it) another skill encourages ppl to play 24 hours a day, it may sound outrages but i can't say anything else about it. Don't get me wrong, i do get your point. danelennon
] we do not infact, have enough already, its extremely easy to fill up ones bank. quit whining, listen to the other posters. you get what you pay for. I actually find that I barely fill up a quarter of my bank, but then I like to keep it tidy :) I think that it's fair for there to be another members only skill, but I think it'd be nice if they made a few more f2p quests. Just my opinion though.
Tim_Tam_Tan_Tien
when you think about it how many members are whiny noobs compared to non-members? i would say alot. Being a member myself i see too many conversations such as this; "0Mg33 lol (H) Jetex r makin it hard 4 meh lolz i p4y i n33d m0r" Tbh, i think most of the non member poulation realises that they dont pay, so they shouldnt get much, But in members, all i see is omg jagex stinks we want more... Members makes people greedy most of the time, i think we could all learn a thing or two from civilised nonmembers O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O OO O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O
shooterbob7
Yea, f2p should have more stuff. after all, if it wasn't for f2p, no one would be playing rs besides members. Also, all of my f2p friends encouraged me to try rs out, not the members lol.
loi86
Almost all the members are like "I pay to play, I am automatically entitled to updates every time I snap my fingers, I also don't have a life." That is the main reason I quit members is because of people acting like that. Retired from Runescape September 1, 2008

Harakiri
Exactly ^^^What you pay for is what you get...and since its free you get a hell of a deal...basically a free game, that you can spend hours on end playing. Why do you need summoning in F2P anyway? What use is it. F2P is really easy...for gods sake, the hardest F2P quest can be completed at a relatively low level (I beat Dragon Slayer at level 42). Anyways, if I remember, you have to do a quest in the members side of the world to get summoning...kinda hard when your F2P...
