IT just matters on your game style, but it's nice to throw one everynow an then. If you don't use any grabs, you can get really predictable imo... If you don't use any punches at, you are missing out on alot of free hits..

 

It'll probably be me and Crazy. I say NO. to the items, that's doing way too much... but I don't see why we can't use CP stages: Castle siege, Delfino, Halberd, and Pokemon Stadium 1. The tour sounds like a nice idea.

 

 

 

We can use any stage, the example stages were ones that just came to mind.

 

 

 

 

And why not make 2 ranks? 1 for teams, and 1 for singles. Matches that would be counted for ranks must be stated *Explicitly* before playing the game.

Various conditions? What kind? I hope you don't mean giant/slow/items/w/e because we can play fun games all the time, I don't see why would need a league for that.

 

 

 

The conditions would include things like items, items on some weird stage, teams without friendly fire, etc. It was intended to work with large teams, so that the players who liked to play with those settings, could. That way, they could still support their team, without having to compete with more skilled players or players that don't like using items and such.

Yeah, sorry. You must learn how to Shield grab. It allows for the quick change of pace... from def to offense.

If there are teams you gotta put worst and best together.

No, I mean that the league will always remain, and you could always play ranked games. If it's not, it would be "League is open for 1 month, then after that the best is ...****"

Here's what I've decided to do.

 

 

 

1) There will be an individual and team league.

 

2) The teams will be small, two person teams. You can choose your team mate.

 

3) The tour system for stages will be used. Each week we'll move on to the next stage.

 

4) Each game will need to follow rules.

 

5) Each game you or your team wins or loses must recorded. I'll update the rankings as they come in.

 

6) The leagues will always be open. You can choose when to play, but you should play at least one game a week.

My Wii is really annoying me atm - I have batteries that charge but the Wii remote is always on and never used.

 

 

 

Do I just take the batteries out if I dont want to use the Wii remote? I havent thought of doing so.

I hate that.. It should shut off after not using it for a few minutes, but it's still a waste of battery power.

Yeah. I was going to go play Brawl but the batteries were dead.

 

After 40 mins of charging the batteries checking every ~10 mins it didnt work.

P.S. - My 2 GC controllers are kinda old, one works well but the other is stiff, and the one that works well has no cover on the Joystick. Shall I buy a new one?

I don't know if it was just a faulty part, but one of my friends did that. Now that Wii remote doesn't always work, especially after being moved. We think it's because something happened to the battery contacts...

Gc is better than the Wii. I have controller without a cover too, it works fine.

 

 

 

So... What are the teams? We should make it fair, but not forced. Who wants to be my partner?
