Intriguing
Mods, I know there was at least one thread about this a while back, but searching for them drew up blanks, so I feel it's alright to open a new one. Feel free to lock this thread if you disagree. So yeah! What comics do you read regularly? What particular styles do you like? I'm mainly talking about internet-based comics, but if you're into comic books, this is still the place to talk about it. I personally browse around 10 or so comic sites daily. Up-to-date comics: - Perry Bible Fellowship Comics - Without a doubt the funniest comics I've ever read. It's a pity he hasn't posted a new one in like two months. - Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal Comics - Without a doubt the second funniest comics I've ever read. - Ctrl+Alt+Del - I think it was the first comic sites I kept track of. I doubt there'll be many people here who don't know about it. - White Ninja Comics - Among one of the first comic sites I ever started looking at. Can get a tad repetitive after a while, but still hilarious. - Left-Handed Toons - My Stupid Life - Garfield Minus Garfield - Misfile - Cyanide and Happiness Currently trying to get up-to-date: - Questionable Content - XKCD - Animals Have Problems Too Also, I'm always looking for a good new comic sites to get addicted to. So if you have any suggestions, feel free to mention them. Cool.
Nadril
I read a lot of those you posted, although you didn't mention Penny Arcade. Also since this a thread about comics, what did you think about Cyanide's spoof of CAD's recent comic? (The storyline about the miscarriage). I'm not sure what they were trying to say there, but oh well.
aspokaspofkjsopfkapo
hmmmm i haven't heard of most of those but xkcd is great
Intriguing
What they were trying to say? You expect the blokes at C&H to have some deep, subtle message behind all their comics? Haha, nah, I'm not really sure. It would have been funny if they had of made him say something... funny. =\ I was really surprised by the original comic though (the Ctrl+Alt+Del one) I kept waiting for it to turn into a joke, but it hasn't yet. Oh well, nothing wrong with the comics getting a bit more mature. Cool.
Uldric
Xkcd Really enjoy it, not your average comic. CAD Is alright, bit sucky lately. Order of the Stick Enjoyable, you need to save up a few and read through them all at once though. MisfileOnly started reading this about a month ago. Read the 1000 pages in about a week. Now just waiting for another 1000 to be made to read them. Dark Legacy World of Warcraft comic, pretty funny. 8BitHaven't read it for a while, another one which you have to save up a few to read at a time. I do think that sometimes the guys behind Cyanide do it just to be [bleep]s (the CAD spoof wasn't actually funny). As far as CAD goes I'm fine with it taking the turn it has. It's not like all comics are supposed to be funny all the time.
pryomancer
CAD has ticked a lot of people off because it's moved away from gaming. I'm not really bothered, as long as it's funny and keeps up the standard. I do love cyanide and happiness though, it focuses on the joke and wordplay rather than the art, which is more my style really. Plus black humour is my favourite. Lenin64
I regularly read C&H, XKCD, and Garfield Minus Garfield. I used to read Misfile, but only one page per day, with very very short pages, just moves too slow. Command the Murderous Chalices! I know C&H took it too far this time, but all the other time he's overreacted, he loses his credibility. (still a cool guy though, dont get me wrong) a lot like fred gallagher (megatokyo)

I'm not missing too many of them, Spider-Man and Daredevil are the two big ones I am not getting. New Avengers I actually don't get either, I just read a friends when he gets them. My favourites right now are X-Factor, Captain America, Buffy Season 8 and New Avengers. I get 27 comics and two of my favourite comics I don't get, doesn't make sense to me either :D . I've never really bothered getting actual comic books, except for a few Simpsons and Futurama ones I got a few years ago. I guess the whole superheros thing never appealed to me much, and that seems to be what most comic books are. Cool.
Dracion1
The only 3 I read regulary are XKCD, VGCats and The Noob. I'd say that XKCD would have to be my favourite though, I could spend ages listing 'the best' comics. "In the beginning, the universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."

It's an easy medium to portray them in, you can give visual effects like in movies except very cheap, while still keeping text to explain things. I also forgot about the Sunday comics, I read those every Sunday.

MPM
Noone's mentioned this comic yet, so I would like to throw out that asofterworld is really good. It's not a humor comic, but it's really good. It's supposedly updated Mondays, Wensdays, and Fridays, but it's easier to just come in on Saturday and see if there are updates because their not very punctual. A comic that doesn't get updated anymore, but had a great idea behind it was whispered apologies. A random artist would send in their picture, and a writer would add the words to it. I thought it was great, but all the people who did it are too busy now :( I also read penny arcade and ctrlaltdel whenever their updated, and white ninja when I get bored. ~M
runescapeloser22
I read C&H, XKCD, and CAD. I've been trying to get into Garfield Minus Garfield, but I only find a few of them funny. Also I recently found Pennyarcade, trying to get into that too.
jjrox32
CAD has always seemed boring to me. I think it's because they draw every joke out to the point where it's not funny. I don't read too many web comics. I did stumble across one I found really horrible: Here (Thanks Lenin for fixing) It's a truly bad web comic IMO, but the writers seem to think it's hilarious. klankaos
Well, an absolutely HILARIOUS comic nobody's mentioned yet is Looking For Group, an awesomely funny webcomic updated twice weekly with some awesome art. Lots of their jokes revolve around WoW and other MMOs as well, so it should please the crowd here a bit. I also read Misfile (thank you, Off-Topic) daily, after blowing through the first 800 pages in about two days. That's a great comic. Gonna go check out some of the ones mentioned in this thread, they sound pretty cool. =) Being immature is a part of being mature.
Topazjewel
Garfield Minus Garfield (it's awesome), Zits, For Better or For Worse (the most unreal family in the world), Mary Worth (my sisters and I love laughing at this old lady), DILBERT (my favorite) and then a handful of others. Safe Havens, Bizzaro, Frazz (which looks so much like Calvin and Hobbes... seriously).
