But still, I find either my connection is nearly as good with a game that demands little internet connectivity, OR i can react better then some people. I have had TWO of them, I traded them to a friend for a ball mouse because he bought some computer from a local store that sold their products with the cheapest products available unless they were upgraded. super computer? your typical off the shelf walmart computer will handle this for $300-400. My computer thats like 4 years old... Can most likely handle these new graphics. And when i play Halo PC, i can't even load colors to the spartan character models. Thats how bad my graphics/video card is.

Im sorry, but that's life. As some already said, people already with a Broadband connection already have an advantage over dial-up users. Not to be offensive, but this is the same kind of mentality that is in our world today. People are afraid to give others the advantage, so we get comfortable being mediocre and we lose the incentive of doing better. I say bring on the heavy duty updates. I will have an excuse to either stop playing, or get a new computer.

Jagex isn't going against any of its RWT morals. But the graphics card, and use it for other things, along with Runescape. It's really inexpensive, and without one you're just going to have to stick with low detail. And these days, there's really no reason why anyone should complain about having to low of RAM for this game. I mean, I can buy 1GB-4GB of RAM down at the PX, and that's $50 for the first GB and $20 for each additional GB. We don't hate you, but when you say that Jagex is biased against people with less money, because there computer meets there standards...it's like... :?:

By your logic, Jagex should pull membership, because that gives people with 5 extra dollars a month an unfair advantage. Oh and shut the game down, you have an advantage because you can afford a computer with an internet connection, Jagex is obviously biased towards people with internet connections and computers.

 

 

 

And the graphics? Pull them, MS-DOS can't handle those graphics. Sounds? Those too, they can't be made through the motherboard. And vector graphics. If Jagex wants to appeal to all computer owners, Runescape will have to be in vector graphics so the Commodore 64 owners can play too.

 

 

 

Also I'm going to need them to give instant 99's and all items and weapons, some of us don't have enough time to do this "grinding". Time = Money, which means money = time.

I am sorry but that is incorrect. If p2p didn't exist, they wouldn't have the better armour than rune. That would mean demand for rune items would be higher. That would mean I could make more money smithing, which atm is a money drainer. P2P get a rune item as drop and sell in G E for minimum price or a f2per becomes member and sells his rune for minimum so he can buy the nicer p2p armour. This is just one example of how p2p effects f2p.

We have considered it. And it sounds like you are making an enormous over dramatic statement. That's like complaining that Apple made a new and better OS, and your puny laptop can't run it like it is. Of course they're trying to make money by making you buy a new computer, or the OS itself. Which is exactly what Jagex is doing; it pulls in F2P'ers. Except Jagex, is not making you pay for the full screen mode by itself, you also get complete membership! So like I said, upgrade, and have more than just the full screen benefits, or deal with the fact that you don't have that like, 1% advantage in BH, or whatever.

You just disarmed yourself with that statement.

 

500M is HUGE if you get it for free. A small advantage because you buy members or have a good machine is normal. Jagex is talking about HUGE advantages that other players wont ever have, because no one spends thousands on game gold, but they might spend 5 or 60 bucks for members / a new video card.
