The same genre game, especially like an FPS doesnt differ much.

 

Both games are run by SMG and MG whoring either way so no matter which game you choose you have to be a sprayer.

I like the Mosin 'cause it has the same qualities as the Kar98k but kills juggernoobs a bit easier.

 

PTRS is too inaccurate. If you vs someone who is smart, when they hear a sniper rifle go off they look at the minimap. ;)

For me, the Springfield is the most accurate, followed by the Kar98k, and then the Mosin Nagant. The PTRS is last for me because it's too inaccurate.

 

 

 

PTRS is too inaccurate. If you vs someone who is smart, when they hear a sniper rifle go off they look at the minimap. ;)

 

 

 

I've tried using the PTRS, and it wasn't worth it. I wouldn't try and rapidly level up for it, considering that the other bolt action rifles are better.

The Arisaka is actually quite good in my opinion. Good fire rate (for a bolt action rifle), very good power and moderate accuracy puts it way ahead of the PTRS.

Kar98k should be your most accurate sniper rifle. I've never missed a straight up 1hk on someone.

From what I've gathered it is region locked, meaning an Austrlian game can't work outside of Australia. But then again why can't you sell it to a game shop?

Well for the first one, like peopl discussed in the "Best games" thread or whatever it is, just because a game is praised doesnt mean everyone has to like it.

 

 

 

And I have to say, for WaW I am very right - It may be servers or console differences but my friend thinks sprayers run the game too and he has a 360. We live on completely opposite sides of the globe ;)

 

And as for 4, I've seen video footage and thats all.

Please don't say that about MW then if you've just seen footage. You should try the game. And there's a reason it gets so much praise, but if you'll review my comments you'll see that I don't base MW's success on praise at all. It's balance, story mode, and general variety included from the rest of the games in the series makes it stand out more from WaW, which is essentially a copy of the game. In the WaW thread, when people remark on how they've never played WaW before, it's hard not to comment on MW, which was the original innovator and deserves the praise it gets. I can praise WaW in ways too, but its similarity to MW is hard to get over.

On the proper consoles its harder to avoid as the tank maps generally don't have spots to hide from dogs. Couple of spots on Outskirts maybe and the balcony on Downfall but thats about it.

MP40 is more annoying than dogs because during the entire match there will be many MP40ers, dogs only come once in awhile when someone gets lucky enough for a 7 kill streak. Dogs and MP40s are no comparison to which is more overpowered (except dogs in Hardcore, 1 bite and you're dead. That sucks) because one is always present and one is occasional.

 

 

 

Anywho... I've been playing Shi No Numa a lot lately and it's really fun when you have communication with your team and everyone works smoothly together. Added a lot of people from zombie and plan on having private matches soon.

 

 

 

In other news... I've attempted to get the sniper scope on M1 Garand like my past 2 prestiges but I give up. I'm already level 58 and plan on prestiging the instant I can. It wouldn't be worth going through the trouble.

The helicopter is so much better than dogs because

 

 

 

A. Its a single thing which can be destroyed fairly easily, especially if its a map with the mounted MGs. Dogs just keep on coming for a set time.

 

 

 

B. If you stayed indoors you were generally alright apart from the occasional glitch where it shot you through the wall.

Because if I sell it to a shop I don't get much money, if I sell to a person I can sell it for a small bit less than the shop does.

lrn2spwnkill I kill the dogs as they jump onto the map, really pisses off the guys who kill themselves the moment they have a 7 kill streak to start all over again. :lol:

 

I played a game where this one guy had a perfect 7:1 K:D ratio as he killed himself once he got 7 kills and then unleashed dogs the moment he spawned. He absolutely raped in that game. I Could never find him though, and he only killed me once or twice as his teammates used the constant barrage of dogs and artillery to get easy kills, plus my team sucked so bad. I joined the game a few minutes in and had the highest score for my entire team.

I had a hilarious match of Hardcore FFA today. This guy kept getting pissed that I was killing him and doing so well, and went on through the next two matches getting killed by me and complaining about it to his friend. I love those situations when this one guy on your team is really annoying, so you pursue the player over everyone else. It was pretty funny. The PPSH on Hardcore rocks, especially on Hardcore FFA with small maps.

That's fair enough, but still. Even through the footage on Youtube to see if I would consider MW if I got a 360 or a PS3 (few months back) most of the high rated and viewed ones were sniping and SMG/MG vids.

 

And the sniping ones would have quite a few misses whereas its not hard to 'miss' with a sprayable gun.

To be honest, since I snipe 4/8 of the maps and sometimes more on a regular playing basis, it depends.

 

Both are equally hard to get kills with since one is weaker and the other has a longer time before shooting.

 

Although, the Kar98k seems to be easier to use if you think about how easy it may be to get headshots.
