99 defence, strength, or attack?

Hia, i have a goal first of 85 in each of these, and i was thinking after that i would go for the defense cape, mainly because i love the look, and it not only helps for melee, like the others, but magic and range too.

 

however, i love the look of the attack cape, and i know the strength 99 would be quite worthwhile. i want both opinions and evidence of why people chose what they did, either strength, defense, or attack. please nothing like "STR = PwNaGe" that doesnt help me.

Attack has a nice looking cape so and I prefer hitting a lot of low hits over one high hit. Get attack based on these reasons.

I'd actually prefer defence, so you can stay there longer, and you see attack and strength capes all the time, go defence.

Really? I see way more defence capes than attack or strength. You can stay just as long if you can kill the things before they can hit enough.

but i dont want a balanced character. i wanna have one level 99 and the others level 85.

These are your options as I see them:

 

1. Attack, always hitting decently.

 

2. Strength, sometimes hitting high.

 

3. Defence, sometimes hitting decently.

 

People always talk about staying at a place longer with defence, but really, how long does a bank trip take? I would definitely say attack, that's the first combat 99 I plan to get.

i say strength because if you get your attack to 85 like you said then you will still be hitting fairly often but you will be hitting higher too

I kinda have the same problem too, im getting my stats up to 90 (str almost there!) then need to decide on something for 99

 

 

 

at this point its attack for these reasons:

 

-i dont like people who think theyre better than eveyrone else cuz they have higher str

 

-i can hit high enough already no need to hit higher

 

-hate using d scim

99 attack no doubt about it, It'll make it a lot easier training the 2 other skills later on.

I just got defense yesterday. I think it's the best choice by far. Especially for slayers.On task, I can negate all damage by just using a bunyip. And thats with a torso.(torso has low defense) Plus, the emote is arguably the best of the three. :thumbsup:

also, with whichever 99 after 85 in all, i will be level 85 slayer, as im going to slay all the way. which would be most beneficial for slayer and for abby demons from then on?

99 attack for sure, it will make it easier to lvl strength and defense after. If you can get your hands on some guthans, defense aint a big deal.

99 Attack first. Lots if hits is always nice. :P Then 99 Defence, less getting hit is really helpful. And then 99 strength. Just my opinion.

lol, i was just about to say that. im thinking 99 def first, because, as i said before, it is good for mage, melee, and range. i would also be an ok tanker for gwd so that would be nice to be wanted! lol :

 

im also agreeing with robin, and i am gonna slay a lot. 99 att will come at abbys, as well as proly 90+ str, then do rest of str at gorillas

Defense, for the same reason you thought of it. It is effective in all areas of combat. Second would be attack because you hit more often and that would speed training/ fighting up faster than if you were to use strength. Just don't completely forget about strength though, because then attack is less effective. Its sort of a balance, although defense would win over both of em. :roll:

I would say defence, becuse i'm going for it...

 

And then there's that saying, something about those who win the most fights are those who don't get hit

Well I'd say attack, because it'll speed up the training of strenght or defense.

I chose defence as my first 99 (and currently only 99) because I like to be different. I also hate it when people judged others solely on their str lvl. I am pretty much making it my own personal goal to get every other combat to 99 before str just to prove to myself and a couple others that 99 str is NOT a must to make you a good character.

 

 

 

Thats just my view. Ever since getting defence to 99 I have never looked back and never regretted it.
