It doesn't matter how many times I've listened to it, the solo always gives me tingles. Currently: Song: Piesn Kurpiowska Artist: Karol Szymanowski Album: N/A Incredibly sad and moving piece. Szymanowski actually wrote it initially for chorus, then rewrote it for solo voice. Later on some editor rewrote it for violin. I learnt the violin piece a few months ago. Cool.

Band: Summoning Song: Runes of Power Album: Let Mortal Heroes Sing Your Fame Band: Jesu Song: Silver Album: Silver (EP) Band: Animus Song: 03-Untitled Album: Poems For The Aching, Swords For The Infuriated If I had to pick one of these it would probably be "Animus - 03 untitled". While the rest of the album is pretty boring (artistically speaking its good, but it's very very minimalistic) but 03-Untitled is different. It's hard to put into words and really I would just suggest trying to find and listen to this song.

Song: Banned from Heaven Artist: Children of Bodom Album: Blooddrunk So Alexi's imploding on his own musical ability, and in my opinion it's the only decent song on that album. But it's a good song, even if some of the lyrics are a bit random. And: Song: The Glass Prison and/or Under A Glass Moon Artist: Dream Theater Album: Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence(TGP)/Images and Words(UAGM) Okay. The Glass Prison is 13 minutes of musical genius. Petrucci is an amazing guitarist and the wah pedal riff is amazing. Very mature lyrics, complicated parts. Just good. And Under A Glass Moon is also very well put together. The octaves intro,with the reverb and keyboard and everything, is amazing. As is the solo. Phew. That's it.
