Bad911
Lol, i don't get how the tip.it researchers missed this, but if you've done legend's quest (or started it), you can go south of shilo village. There are a few teak trees by the pond of the quest and scattered around the area. Also, there are mahagony. Whats weird is, the achievement diaries guide for karamja, where you have to cut mahagony and teak on the island doesn't say you can cut south of shilo, it tells you exclusively to cut useing the tai bwo minigame. However, it works when you cut the trees south of shilo village.

Bad911
Lets see, people who want to make their house look nice? People who actually want to use teaks because making oak larders all day everyday might not be their thing? People who want to make the items that need teak planks, like study, etc...? Some people actually want to play for enjoyment..

Well at 46 construction, I can't imagine he needs to cut teaks to make his house look nice, that's something you'd just go and buy since it won't be that much. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
D Jay99
Ape atoll is the best spot cuz there's no randoms, but kharazi jungle and tai bwo wannai are fine too. Lol, no, I was there yesterday getting my woodcutting 73-75, and I got 2 MoM's, 3 genies, 2 ent's (which both broke my axe -.- ) and 4 tree spirits (which all did at least 50hp damage, one really killing me. Gravestones ). I know I should read forums less...

D Jay99
Oh, that's it. I wasn't in my monkey form, because you can't see your character cutting then. If you switch back from tif and the tree has respawned already, you can't see that. Very annoying. But I guess staying in monkey form would be better. Well, what if he's getting them for construction? Who uses anything besides oak planks? Best xp/gp ratio for the planks. I used teak to quickly get from 36 to 52. Then I used oak, as it was going to take forever anyway to get levels after that. ...Still takes forever. First skill to 70...
