Its basicly formt he Romulans in Star Trek, who have a secret yet powerfull (and I mean politically-influencing powerfull) CIA kind of thing, who is coincidently also named Tal Shiar ;) We have made many adaptations to the symbol... The one thing that has always eluded us though is what the 2 globes mean in the context of the clan...
