To OP: Can you just make a Long list of all lendable items in the first post with a hide thingy for each of them, and then when someone says they can lend it, you could put their name under the name of the item (along with any price they charge) so they can be PMed, either in game or on here? I think that's the most helpful way of running this.

As with other trust trades, asking money for this 'service' is against the rules. Item lending was introduced due to the huge number of players upset that they couldn't help out their friends by sharing their cool armour. It certainly isn't intended for high level players to profit from their wealth.

Not true, as early as the 4th post someone is requesting money if anyone wants to borrow their item (for longer than an hour). Personally, I think it's a stupid rule but meh, it's probably there for a reason.

jagex should offer option on lending service where they have to offer gp to lend then.. why should players part with an item they have earned for free i may have to use it in that time i dont want to be followed all day with "CAN I LEND IT PLS PLS PSL PSL SPLSPLSPLSPLSPLPSLPL".
