there's this girl that i talked a bit on the phone,my friend knows her,he told me he will hook me up with her,actually,today i did,but as soon as i almost arrived,her brother had to pick her up from the rendez vous and she messaged me saying i'm sorry i can't meet you today :S

Girls don't like when guys seem desperate, so try not to let her know that this bothers you. Why do you want to hook up with her right away anyways though? Give it a little time.

Maybe that's exactly the problem? It's possible that she doesn't like you as much as you like her. Anyway, I think you've been given all the advice you need already. If she likes you after all, good for you. If she doesn't, meh, there are other girls out there.

I asked her out because I genuinely liked her. She was nice. OK? But all my friends were getting PO'ed that I went for her. And I'm sure you'll now be thinking, "I'll quote segment 2." Yeah, guilty I guess. I have a few people I was considering asking out, ALL of whom I'd genuinely liked. But seriously, I KNEW that on some I was going to get dumped so, I picked her because judging social status, looks and multiple other factors, I figured I would not be dumped. He's just 13, if he got into a serious relationship at that age, I would be amazed. Everyone is treating him as if he is 18 looking for a serious relationship with someone he truly loves, when he's just a 13 year old newly exposed to the world of hormones. I guess I have digged myself out of the "No gf ever" approach, and I've asked one girl from work for her number, etc. I got an ICQ number out of her, she added me and I immediately had a chat with her - my problem is, though, sort of tragicomedical.

 

 

 

So, I figured out that I've probably added her strangely and she never appears to be online. She's not invisible, since when I chatted with her when she added me she was offline, too, but when she replied, there was no invisible eye icon, as users that are invisible and reply usually have.

 

 

 

It might be because I have QIP, which sometimes screws up and does strange things, idk.

 

 

 

It's hard to check from the net whenever she's online with some invisible detectors ( who knows, maybe she really is invis ). My friend suggested I could ask her out when she's offline ( since she'll get the message later + she only seldomly comes to work), but that appears a bit "suicidal" for me. It has so many possible scenarios that could happen that I won't even think of it.
