April 23, 200917 yr So today she wasn't at school... She was sick or something. Hopefully I'll here something from her tommorow... It's great you know what you're talking about rustiod. Everything you've said is 100% accurate a true. That being said...your a [bleep]ing [bleep] douchebag, and none of your advice will ever (or should ever) be taken seriously because of it.disregard good advice because the giver is a douche THAT MAKES YOU A BETTER PERSON
April 24, 200917 yr Ok, here's my problem... Today I asked the girl that I really like to the upcomming dance. I was almost positive that she liked me, I noticed lots of signs, and today I was sitting beside her and my friend, talking to them, when another guy said "myname, hername wants to ask you something!" she turned to him playfully hit him and said "no I don't!!" and giggled and look embarrased. So I was pretty sure... Then after school I waited outside for her to finally ask her, she walked out was headed for Her ride, I said hey she looked at me and said hey. Then I paused and said " hey I was wondering if you wanted to go to the dance with me." She turned away started walking and said " I dunno, I'll think about it" with no emotion in her voice at all... So I'm kinda confused... What should I do tommorow? Just wait and see what she does, or go up to her and say something? I'd wait for tomorrow, and see if she says anything. If not, ask her the next day.
April 24, 200917 yr So I finally got around to asking a girl out and she said yes...but later that night on msn as we were chatting apparently I made a stupid mistake. I said people would think it would be weird if we went out and made it clear that I didn't care. She went on to say she was confused and needed a break from guys and signed out on me. Now she's refusing to talk to me, answer my phone calls, you name it. What on earth did I do? Update: I am really confused at this point. I sent her a message through Facebook the next day, which she ignored. She also actually deleted the account but she was already planning on doing that. So after no contact with her for a couple weeks, I asked her friend to talk to her for me. She told her that she wasn't mad at me, but after thinking about it realized that the relationship wouldn't work out. So I said ok, No hard feelings. But it still seems like she's hiding from me or something. I know you guys will all tell me to move on and I'm trying to but I can't, not when I have no idea what the problem is. I know she has made a myspace since then and added all of my best friends but magically missed me. Judging by that, I'm guessing that she is in fact angry with me. So my point is, I want to talk to her but really don't know what to say...I could send her a message online and I think that would be best...If I did this what should I say? And also, since she obviously doesn't want any contact with me should I even attempt to fix things with her?
April 24, 200917 yr Got a cell phone yesterday, my parents dont know yet nor will they ever. She answered my call and we've been talking. She says my parents are cruel vile people who need to burn in hell and she is tired of the drama they cause. she says we can try to stay together, but it wont be easy until my 16th (only 6 months away). Im tired of my parents [cabbage] so I've completely stopped nteracting with them. If you have any further advice on how to keep our relationship going through long distance, let me know. Things have really calmed down from what I see, but at the same time, at its worst. ugh, all I got to say is [bleep] parents... Good job with the cell phone, but how long can you keep up that charade? Your bill will inevitably be mailed to your house, where the letter will have your name and a big phone company emblem on it. Just a heads up. Hoorah to boys being gentlemen and girls being....Well....Like most men? Fix'd. Being broken up with in person hurts, but I'd much perfer it over being dumped in any other way. If you care about the person even a little bit (or ever did) and you want to break up with them...DO IT IN PERSON. Any other way is just insensitive and cowardly. Ok, here's my problem... Today I asked the girl that I really like to the upcomming dance. So I'm kinda confused... What should I do tommorow? Just wait and see what she does, or go up to her and say something? Ask her what conclusion she's deduced. Using different words of course. Saying like that will certainly get a strange look and a no. See where it goes. If it starts going downhill, move on...If it'sa yes - congradualtions. If it's a complicated answer that only girls have the power to understand....Post it back on here and we'll decode it together. :) Update: I am really confused at this point. My advice: Don't dwell on it. You can keep it in the back of your mind if you'd like, but try to put your focus in something else. Possibly another girl. She's not ready to be with you, and there's no guarentee that she ever will be. She's avoiding you because being with you is awkward. She needs space to put her mind away from you. You should do likewise. Your in the back of her head, you should do the same for her. Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. Anyone who likes logic is incapable of tacos. You have 2 Options: 1) If she lives near you or goes to the same school, be a man and ask her face-to-face. Doing this will pressure her into telling the truth and not running away from it, if she doesnt say anything and walks off or something, then its quite sadly over. 2) If you need to keep throwing messages that wont get read, your best option is to give up and move on. its harsh to say but its the best (in this scenario) Woman are difficult to understand. They expect us to be mind readers and we always seem to do the opposite of what they want. (most woman might agree with me here on the mindreader part) Popoto.~<3
April 24, 200917 yr It's better to get to know someone without becoming too close (thus entering the FRIEND ZONE *boo* *boo* :P ) then approach said person in a way you think is most appropriate, it's not always good to take advice from others on how to express your feelings. Also, sometimes you just have a gut feeling that the person you like, likes you back (based off body language and behaviour, subtlety varies)... and if you know that person well enough you can usually accurately predict how they will respond to what you want to tell them. For example, like pretty much everyone else, I've been in a situation where I was madly in love/lust (there's a difference, but in this instance it was mixed), I'd observed quite a few hints in the past that this person was fond of me, but I knew she would reject me if I asked because of her dedication to her social/academic goals/duties... but did that stop me? HELL NO. So I ended up getting rejected, all the while knowing that I would. Stupid move? Mabye... but I did succeed in verifying my feelings and sexuality (lol). I have yet to see whether the experience payed off. Ok... so I've kind of forgotten what point I was trying to make... I guess there's a few points that I want to make: - If you're going tell someone how you feel, do it in private, the last thing you want is to be openly gossiped about (especially if you were rejected), a potential relationship is between two people and two people only and should only be publicly celebrated at marriage (long way off from the start) DO NOT USE A "MIDDLE-MAN/WOMAN" TO GET YOUR MESSAGE ACROSS. - Dont trust anyone else, go with your gut instinct and be realistic, just because you can fantasize about something, doesn't mean it will happen. (sorta duh, but alot of people fall into this trap, getting their hopes up) - Just remember rejection isn't as bad as it seems, sure you feel utterly devistated first time round, but it you get used to it, rejection is inevitable. You may even intentionally pick girls (I would say guys as well... but the roll of females in dating is generally to look pretty and wait for a male to approach) that will reject you a few times before you become serious just to toughen yourself up (it works). - If you classify yourself as a shy "nice-guy", you might as well paint "NOT A POTENTIAL PARTNER" over your forehead (If it fits :P ), seriously, girls want to feel like they are in good, strong, confident hands. If a girl sees you as a shy nice-guy, she'll probably make a comment like... "you're cute" and move on (great... you've been demoted to the rank of a plush toy, congratulations!). If you really don't see yourself as an "alpha-male" in society, try to become a "covert-alpha-male" (Yes, I made that up), what you need to focus on is subtle contribution, and a induce a sense in others that says YOU are in control, you don't have to be loud/out-spoken, you just have to have to display confidence and alertness. Dont let others walk all over you (INCLUDING GIRLS) and tackle each situation appropriately, don't shy away. "I don't care what others think" is hot. I hope my lengthy post helped.

Is that true? So, if I think a girl may possibly like me it's no use waiting for her to tell it, if I wanted to be certain?

Just waiting for her to tell you she likes you won't work out very well with most women. If you think a girl likes you, and you like her, go for it. On an unrelated note, am I the only one who seems to always gets adds from dating sites when on this thread?
April 24, 200917 yr So, she avoided me all day. I saw her standind with her friends across the field looking over at me a couple times, and I believe she told most of her friends, but that doesn't really bother me. I'm really pissed off and sad right now, it's the weekend so I guess we both have 2 days to think... I don't even know what to think about... It's great you know what you're talking about rustiod. I'm really pissed off and sad right now, it's the weekend so I guess we both have 2 days to think... I don't even know what to think about... Ah, don't worry, she diddn't exactly flat out reject you, right? The avoidance may have something to do with her friends, friends have a nasty habit of getting in the way of such things, like literally creating a wall around the person you want to talk... thinking that they know what's best for them... They are evil, evil, mind-control demons (sarcasm) Or... - She may want to say yes or is affraid in general of what others might think (I was in this position a few years back) - She was initially planning to ask someone else, or has already been asked by someone else (If you haven't noticed, it's easily possible to be equally fond of more than one person, in which case you need to prove that you are the dominant one) - Maybe what seems to be avoidance is in fact coincidental? (Probably not, It's just a possibility) - Something else, rendering all previous points invalid Either way, you've taken a step forward in asking her in the first place, you should notice a significant boost in your confidence if you haven't already (try not to take it too negitavly or it will have the opposite effect. You should be proud of putting yourself out there) There is more remorse in "what if I had" than "what if I hadn't"
April 25, 200917 yr Yeah, I think her friends have something to do with this. I know another guy likes her, he sits behind her in class, and he's always flirting with her... I didn't think that he had asked her already, I wouldve already know. I'm thinking she's scared of what others will think, lots of people look down on me for absolutely no reason, hey don't ask me why. It doesn't help that people (a few guys) think I was rejected, that will spread pretty fast at my school. Just for refference I'm 13, 14 in 7 days, which happens to be the day of the dance, It's great you know what you're talking about rustiod. Everything you've said is 100% accurate a true. April 25, 200917 yr Wow, 14, they really shouldn't put that sort of pressure on people your age (organising dances)
April 25, 200917 yr Wow, 14, they really shouldn't put that sort of pressure on people your age (organising dances) In my old school that taught 5th-7th grade they had like 5 dances a year.
April 25, 200917 yr Besides the getting someone to go with you it's fun. There is usully only 4 or 5 pairs of people that go together, out of 70 people. 60% of the girls at my school are total [bleep]es, I avoid them, I get hatted on for no reason, but I don't give a [cabbage] about them. April 25, 200917 yr You're so like me lol Yeah, anyways it really pisses me off that these [bleep]es make her (who else) scared to like me, if that's the case, which I believe it is. Off-topic I type like [cabbage] in msn cause if I type with grammar I get hated on... It's great you know what you're talking about rustiod. Everything you've said is 100% accurate a true. April 25, 200917 yr Sounds like your peers suffer from immaturity Yep, lol many do. Like today the guy that sits behind her poured a yogurt on someones desk. I loled pretty hard, the superviser walked in right after lol. He goes to the janitors room and comes back with paper towel and some cleaning stuff in a squirt bottle. After wiping it off he accidentaly squirts some soap or whatever it is into the guys mouth, the guy who's desk had yogurt on it. I loled even harder then got [bleep]ed out by a chick for laughing so hard -.- wasn't even laughing that hard. It's great you know what you're talking about rustiod. April 25, 200917 yr Okay, so I'm back for more advice. This girl in my class, she is really pissed at me for some reason, I have no clue why. And all I want is for her to forgive me. So my question is, whats the quickest way to make a girl forgive you? My Blog!!!
April 25, 200917 yr Well, during the times girls randomly get angry at us, we men like to leave them alone. Take a car radiator. You never remove the cap when the radiator is hot, do you? No, you have a beer and let it cool down. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

So my question is, whats the quickest way to make a girl forgive you? Buying a box of chocolates and flowers works pretty well. Wait a little while like Lenticular said, then ask her why she's mad at you. If she makes excuses like 'I'm not mad at you' or something just tell her to cut the bull and be honest with you. When she says why she's mad at you, remember to apologize, do whatever you can do to fix it, and try not to do it again.
