"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice

He means an irrational feeling that would interfere with his level-mindedness when he's around her.

Focus on some of her less-attractive qualities. If you can't think of any, you don't know her well enough. She is just as human as you are, and has just as many faults, if you can figure out where to look.

  • Okay so I'm pretty confident at least 2 of you remember me and maybe .5 of you remember how my last post went. To recap, I went on the first date of my life and then a second one that went poorly.   T

>Implying that he hasn't already fallen in love.

Seriously if you have you're pretty screwed, but you only know that if you've been thinking about her like lots and stuff, can't really go into detail, but if it is just something that happens when you're around her, try avoid her, if that proves difficult then simply try to beat it with your own mind.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

Anyone know any good tricks to avoid getting a "crush"? I'm starting to crush on this one girl and I rather not because all that ever leads to (for me) is nervousness and infatuation. That in turn just ends in disappointment

As mentioned, focus on her less attractive qualities.

Well thanks for the help. I think I was able to beat out this feeling by telling myself that I don't really care. That even if she happened to start hating me for whatever reason that I would get over her and not really mind. On the other hand, if I were to get with her, it most likely won't be as great as I imagine it to be and she is not as important as I tend to think she is.

I might be over her in a week and this state of attraction I'm in at the moment won't matter. Or we might ( unlikely) fall in love with each other and have a relationship for a long period time. Then there is all those other possible scenarios that can happen. Either way, whatever happens, happens. I'll eventually adapt to any scenario ( good or bad) and then look for something more in this life that is void of meaning itself.

Basically, I just got rid of the fear of failure and I'm fine now, that crushing feeling is nice when you don't care about losing it. :)

Some random girl came up to me at lunch and started talking to me.

She asked really random questions like, "What do you do after-school?" and "Do you like your classes?"

It's obvious she likes me, but I don't really find her interesting or attractive tbh.

Today, she said, "Since you don't talk much at school, I'll give you my number so you can talk to me AFTER SCHOOL! Since you're my new friend!" So, she tears out a piece of notebook paper with her number on it, and hands it to me. :S

It was actually pretty awkward, since I don't find her attractive or interesting. I accepted the number because I didn't want to come off as a [bleep].

How do I tell her I'm not interested without sounding like a [bleep]?

Ha, I'm in a similar situation. There is this one girl that I was flirting with for a bit, but now I'm not really interested in her, and actually find her a bit annoying. But she still texts me and talks to me all the time during class ( she sits next to me). I don't act interested.. but I don't know how much of an effect that is having. I'm just hoping that she will get bored with me :P

A friend of mine suggested that I should talk about my "girlfriend" so she'll think I'm taken.

yeah, but then so does everyone else. You could just be friends with her. Just cause she has a vagina, doesn't mean you have to date her.

I understand that.

I can usually make friends with females no problem, even if I do not find them attractive. But this one kind of obsesses over me.

She always attempts to talk to me, and she constantly interrupts conversations with my friends to ask a pointless question like, "What math class you taking?".

I'd be friends with her, but she's just...a bit clingy.

Yeah, I just wouldn't text her. Although usually that kind of confidence and decisiveness is attractive, if they are one of those annoying confident types, rather than naturally confident it's not a good thing.

You guys wanna know one of the worst feelings ever...?

Leaving your current girlfriend for someone else who is more 'active' only to find out later that's all they were good for & the one you left was the best thing that ever happened to you & by the time you want to go back & make an apology, she accepts it and tells you she dated her ex again in the short time you were apart & they did it so many times & then she tells you how effed up her life is because now her family thinks so much less of her when they use to think the world of her and you really wanna' be there for her like you once were all day everyday but now you can't because everytime you look at her you see what her parents see in her now & whenever you look in the mirror you bury your face in the towel crying like a girl because you know you can't change the past no matter how bad you wanted to and now the only option left is to move on even though you still think about her daily even after removing her from your life heartlessly knowing it really hurt her only to come back later on YET AGAIN & try to apologize but she's nowhere to be found...

Sorry for the wall...

tl;dr - Stay with whoever makes you the happiest. Don't ever leave for what you think will make you even happier. Because chances are, they're not worth it in the end...

^ Most serious post you'll ever see from me.

Cherish it.

1. "My ear's in a cup, I guess that doesn't count..."

2. "So heyyy, that's a pretty reasonable reaction huh?"

3. "So you up for NAFTA?"

4. "That went exactly how I wanted it to."

Undo, I'm sure deep down you are a normal person, but your insatiable appetite for trolling means that unless you change your attitude, no-one will ever take you seriously. You last remark sort of confirms that.

rosssigfinal.jpg

Yeah..

My first thought anyway was that if his ex wasn't very 'active' then she probably had a good reason...

Luckiest man in the world, I know!

I know most guys say this, but, she's different. We clicked within the first five minutes of meeting. Soul mates?

Kidding about the soul mates thing.

I troll countless Forums for entertainment.

Until recently, I've set back on Tip.it as the Staff seems to have an active upkeep - Which I find admirable.

However, this explains my inactivity here to an extent compared by increased activity on the other Forums.

Ever since my unfair demotion on the RS Forums, I figured there was nowhere left to go but down.

So after numerous warnings to end the spam of which I ignored, I was iped from all my accounts.

A great decision on JaGeX's part, a realization I had been given.

That if there was any lesson to be learned from being a troll, it's to not care what the cyber world thinks of me seeing as they impact me little to none.

I'm not bipolar, but the way people reply to eachother & directly towards myself make my personality split leading you & myself to think I am indeed a mental patient.

My real life is amazing. I'm with who I want to be with, I have all I want to have, & I'm doing exactly what I want to do.

I can handle any change of a scenario in my life very well & move on from it more-so quickly than anyone else could.

I am who I am.

& I'm certainly not changing for a few warning signs & a kick in the nuts.

You're one interesting lad, Undo. You deserve a bro-hug for the post you made before this one ITT. I know how it feels. Almost. The reaction is the same, the means were different.

In an interesting side bar, the girl I'm trying to date [NOT just hook up with]'s birthday was today. I got her cheese-whiz and a card with monks on a roller coaster. She texted me saying how much she loved it and thought it was the best gift ever. Just to prove a point that you dont have to "go big or go home" when it comes down to gift giving for girls. As long as it means something, you're golden. i hope to be in a relationship with this girl as soon as our schedules clear up [she's very pro-active, and I'm very in college]. i figured I'd circle jerk for a moment there. As you were, gentlemen.

Yeah. For gift ideas, usually the thought will be more pimportant than the actual gift itself.

And best typo ever.

I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal.
