September 19, 201114 yr Tim, can I ask why you are so dependent upon friends? Everywhere you post you always comment on a lack of support from friends for everything going wrong or not happening. Has it not occured yet to stand on your own two feet as it is far more appealing than be the leacher.

Some people just simply don't get dealt the same cards as you - so it's not fair to assume everybody has the same resources at their disposal. Not that you don't have a point - I just think you're oversimplifying his issues as if it all boils down to the mere matter of "manning up" when quite a bit of our problems in life are decided by nature alone. (off topic) Now to get on topic.... The difference between high school and college girls. I noticed a 500% increase in physical and psychological maturity where I live.

And yes I have tried standing on my own two feet, having a friend their for me just helps.....alot. September 20, 201114 yr I've accepted the fact that I haven't 'hooked up' with a girl for a year. Haha, it's funny. I've accepted the fact that I haven't 'hooked up' with a girl ever. Haha, it's funny. Anyway. It is quite understandable to have someone to be there for you as a friend. Isn't that the whole point of marriage? So don't say that someone like Tim should just screw people and stand by himself. Although, it is good to able to be comfortable without friends.

I would say hooked up means more than kissing but then again that phrase is never used in my groups of friends. Also, you completely took my point out of context. I never mentioned marriage and I never mentioned standing alone completely, just in some situations. I know myself that I have to sometimes get support as if I don't I become too fixated and miss the blindingly obvious.

September 20, 201114 yr We don't all live in Candy Land, Giordano...to me you can hook up with many people in a single night. How does one date many people in one night?Well the way I always thought of it, was not so much an official date but like... hangouts and becoming 'friends'. So you could hook up with several people in a night. I suck at explaining it really. But at least now I know when people say 'hook-up' it's not as innocent as I thought it was. September 21, 201114 yr I defined hook up as a kiss session, haha. Nothing more. Giordano's definition of hooking up to me would be... getting together, meeting up? Oh, and you never told me you resided in Candy Land, Giordano. Some kind of friend you are. | My Tumblr |
September 21, 201114 yr Hook up means getting laid here. Second base is touching. Got together could either mean getting laid or dating. "Only by going too far can one find out how far one can go." T.S. Eliot

In grown-up world it's simple. Hooked-up: You had sex.Made- out: You kissed.Got together: Went out on a date/for a drink/for coffee.Dating: You are now dating. There's no "banged". It's hooked-up. Hormonal teenagers that are too shy to say the word sex, say bank. There is no "[bleep]ed". Pigs who are insecure about their sexuality say "[bleep]" <-- the F word. Making-out is kissing, no matter how dirty or how romantic.Hooking up is having sex. No matter how often, how frequently, how dirty, how long of how romantic.Getting together is going out, and just because you went out on a date does not mean you are "dating". Don't get why people need to make something so simple seem so complicated. Not everything has to be so philosophical.

Everything does have to be so philosophical, or else we get people correlating word choice with sexual identity.
September 22, 201114 yr It's just regional and personal differences, dude. I don't know why you're going on with adult vs. teenage, or philosophy. "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is."
