It may be the only useful ring they have giving them free low alch spells, free teleports, run energy recharge, and a +1 mage and prayer bonus. Free players don't have glorys to teleport to draynor, or staffs with high magic bonus. On top of that melee is the most popular form of combat on a free world. Really jagex probably made that ring to balance f2p pvp. pvp meaning bh you cant bring the ring in bh.. Heard of duelling much? ;) You only live twice. Good job for taking a dump all over someone who's genuinely trying to help the forums instead of adding to the garbage that gets posted every single day. Well done. never heard of the lumbridge diary then? good teleport to falador farming allotments 150% to run from revs with no terrorbird the extra runes arent that great well, i havent been super active, but i tend to notice good forum posters and well, alpha has been missing around here lately. So i would assume, he has lessened his play time also, he wont need run energy from revs. Revs arent even that bad. but thats here nor there. OT: I think it's a really useful teleport for f2p. As somebody said, it makes it easier to bank the fish they catch on Karamja. For members it just saves a bit of walking from Draynor. The run recharge is very useful if you don't have tons of super energy pots in your bank, the teleport is incredibly useful if you regularly visit Draynor and don't have 25 charged glorys in your bank (only having 2 glorys myself, I waste a lot of Games Necklaces recharging them) and for anyone crafting low level runes the chance at yet another extra rune is always welcome.
