alphakoldes
I didn't know about this ring. Never heard of it. Good job for taking a dump all over someone who's genuinely trying to help the forums instead of adding to the garbage that gets posted every single day. Well done. -Man, I really do love Runescape, and I'm sure if it was a real person I would of asked it to marry me by now.
sprites
I find the ring to be very handy. I use it as sort of a f2p teleport to draynor. Kill corporate radio. http://www.killradio.org

Randox
I use it inplace of my glory for draynor teles since half the time I am actualy trying to get to port sarim anyway. But if I am going to go to draynor much, I might use the ring rather than deplete an entire glory since I currently only have 4 (I could buy more, easily, but I don't want to). I really should replace the 5th glory I lost though, 4 is just not quite enough. I view it as a port sarim tele, which I have wanted for AGES. It could revolutionise f2p fishing too. How is a ring armor -.- Ring of recoil could possibly kill something  The low alching does give mage xp, thanks for the tip. \ And f2p fishing is horrible money its all in wc'ing and mining, but I bet its handy for those who fish for training food. Wc'ing my way to 99 (Wish me luck)
Midala87
Does anyone have any comments about the possible use of its 30 charges for low alchemy? I am guessing that f2p could use it along with superheating mithril ore + coal to save on costs of nature runes. Of course I am not sure by how much would be saved nor do I plan on figuring out right now. Maybe some other time?
brando13a
It's always nice to see a new update or two for F2P, especially since thats where i am right now  (save me please) the ring is alot more useful than people seem to be willing to accept. without going past just getting the ring, its already very unique, its starting abilities are pretty fantastic, along with a special bonus i like to call prayer +1. this is my new ring when facing something that is prayer intensive (ring of life is dandy, wealth doesnt make that huge of a difference to be worth it most of the time) AND it gives +1 to mage attack too. so stats alone make it unique and useful as far as rings go, I'd say it competes pretty well with onyx bracelet (2x healing rate, sounds useful to me, havnt tried it though) and when you fully unlock the ring, you gain: an extra 150% run when you need it most, plus you can always drop the ring with now worries if you need space 10% chance to get an extra rune (FAEW) means for people who like to air run, thats almost guaranteed extra 3 air runes per trip, which adds up pretty fast. 30 free low alchs- free mage exp, easy cleaning for low drops while training, i really like this, seeing as i dont play much, my training session would make perfect use of 30 free alchs, and free mage exp is just beautiful INFINITE teles to the cabbage patch. best update ever. ~Brando el diablo~ Reverents can be a pain, but you can run away from them. Just curious, do they still have teleblocking ability?Fear the church, the reverents have 85 magic!!!!
Erichermit
Im making great use of this ring as a Port Sarim teleport and a teleport to the Falador farm to check my herbs. Now I can quickly visit the Morytania Farm and the Falador Farm for almost no effort at all. The 150% run is also helpful when doing farming runs but you dont want to summon a bird for it, or perhaps you want to use a farming boosting familiar. Do you hate Wyverns or Warped Terrorbirds? Midala87
I just think it's great that f2p now has a teleport to Draynor \ Hmm yes. But did f2p really NEED a teleport there? Or was it perhaps really designed for us greedy p2pers? I really cannot see much use for the teleport on non members except to boost the efficiency of lobster/swordfish fishing. Which IS needed. spyderownzyou
I agree the explorer ring is great :D I just finished the entire lummy diary (first diary I ever full completed), just to get the exporer ring (3), it is a very useful bit of equipment from a easy diary, and the teleport saves a lot of runes/walking while farming  And free alchs will help while training on monsters with semi-useful drops to save bank runs while earning a little free xp You only live twice. Doomster
It has combat stats (+magic, + magic defence, +prayer), so it is "armour". Who
you could just highlight the url then hit the img button and it will automatically put the image brackets up. like this: if you have done the quest rocking out, it's not a bad teleport for getting fairly close to the customs officer; unlimited teleport and the restore run thing helps out after you've swam to karamja and been depleted of energy after leaving the rock. i'll probably use the teleport for collecting eyes of newt and for thieving the files upstairs at the rock prison. a good thing about the ring is it can be equipped with a glory and not take up any inventory space. another thing i thought of is quick banking for f2p fishers from karamja pier. Only problem is that you can't bring anything to the Custom Lockers, so when you get off the prison, you're still 0% run. Nenga
The ring is for f2p players. It may be the only useful ring they have giving them free low alch spells, free teleports, run energy recharge, and a +1 mage and prayer bonus. Free players don't have glorys to teleport to draynor, or staffs with high magic bonus. On top of that melee is the most popular form of combat on a free world. Really jagex probably made that ring to balance f2p pvp. Ponies!
