I wouldn't even put it in my bank. I really hate the clothing rewards, they're next to useless. You could at least have a weapon that you can use to attack with, however low it puts your attack bonus...

I hope the sword will work like rubber chicken (-100 stats), and you can use to attack people out of duels, make them look frozen til they move :

Merchants probably just voted to make a profit but I voted for the pet :P. IMO It should give a beard with the suit that you can make into a bearded santa if you have a santa hat like the other TT items you can make into one. That way santas would rise back to what they were before the GE and maybe I can make a few mill ;)

Santa Suit(29% of votes)-it is going to be most likely a 2 piece reward, meaning less bank space for f2p people and p2p people who don't have a high enough construction level to make a costume room. Also, as stated in the post, this may cause santa hats to [bleep]e or dip in the GE.

I voted for the icicle sword and i'm p2p. Really no one really wants the santa suit. Newbs want the santa suit for a free rare, noobs (aka merchants) want a santa suit to jack up the price on santas and make a profit. Are you noticing a trend here? It's all about the hat.

I think there was an elf suit - if there was I think I voted for that but I just don't remember... or care very much! You know, the only holiday item I actually use is, surprisingly, the grim reaper hood. Or I used to, before I got a cavalier mask, cos you know something? It may not look any good with much in game, but try wearing it with Vyrewatch as a skilling outfit... then see what you think....

 

 

 

 

 

I don't know about Santa Suit, I think it'd look a bit rubbish... people with a Santa Hat might like it for a while, but even then they'd probably not wanna wear it because face it, Santa's only good at Christmas! Good thing about something like the chocatrice cape or the reaper hood is they're not completely seasonal.

This could go both ways. If they choose not to include the hat, I think the demand for santas would go up, just to see what the suit looked like "Complete". If they chose to add the hat to the set, they would have to make it a totally different hat or else it would devalue santas drastically. (Spell Check)everyone would have a santa which would be very demoralizing for someone who worked for their santas.

Why should't F2P get a reindeer? If that is what is voted in EVERYONE should get it.

 

 

 

Also, where is it written that f2p will never have pets? Surely if Jagex put the choice in then obviously there is nothing preventing them from making it F2P, else why put it in?

I was torn between what to vote for, the icicle sword sounded cool but the Santa suit would match my hat, so it was a tough choice. I'd be happy with whatever won, its just a fun item and event to celebrate the holidays.

oh wow i was in canada when this poll came out...i woulda voted 4 the sword. since i dont want santas (or any rares for that matter) go up in price so those hoarder "noobs" can make an easy profit. a holiday event shouldnt determine the price of a rare that came out years ago.

 

 

 

also, i cant believe that they didnt inclue the rubber chicken holiday...that was my favorite. then december 2005 where u helped diango with his stuff.

It's all for fun really. I don't care which wins, I'll be happy with another holiday item, despite its usefulness or lack of thereof(sp?) since I doubt I'll use it past the day I get it.

I voted for the Present because I figured there was a reasonable chance that the present would be opened to reveal actual RS items, like runes, arrows, coins, etc... kinda like the reward from the Maze random event, but way better. I only hope Jagex doesn't make every player's present the same, like the way they make every player's customer service responses the same. That'd be bad.

 

 

 

As for the Santa suit, I would bet a large amount of money (if the trade limit would let me) that the Santa suit won't have a hat, but would look awful with Santa hats. Just look at the Grim Reaper hood. It would have been so easy just to make it match priest robes or black wizard robes. But no, Jagex had to shock all of Runescape by managing to make a hood that actually succeeded in matching nothing else.

 

 

 

The pet reindeer would be nothing like anyone expected. I assume it'll be something ridiculous like the toy horsey. It'd be an item in your inventory and you can click on it to bring it out for a few seconds, have it do some prancing around, then it would go back in your inventory.

Maybe it will be green? Like the "stranger" in xmass of 2006

I probably wouldn't mind a santa suit, even though they would probably make it non-tradable anyways...

 

 

 

I just like the hat, hats are more fun for outfits because helmets are usually the least important.

 

I dont think someone is going to go around doing slayer in a full santa outfit >.<

I think the santa hants will rise alot around christmas time. Maybe i should go buy one or two and wait.

Only way to get them is with junk now.. I wish I held on to th eother 4 I had.. Now I just got 1 :(
