If anything this is a step backwards towards the old player to player trading as it re-implements our ability to ledn items to each other

If you can trade items (GE), you can share drops (LootShare) and you can lend a friend something - Jagex can pretty much take away the trading window.

 

 

 

In that sense it is a step towards no direct trading.

You can't really scam anymore, like if someone switches 2000k for 200k it would be an unbalanced trade and it wouldn't let you accept. And i agree that this is more of a step backwards towards the old trade system.

I don't think Jagex is "going in for the kill". Quite frankly I for one am tired of people spouting their mouths saying they are trying to ruin their own game and removing stuff when they are in fact making it better. I trust in Jagex, they aren't stupid enough to kill their game that is making them plenty of money and more to come in the coming months.

Probably that your idea makes no sense. God wars is better money than everything else, so they might as well remove every other money maker now. Rune shops have infinite stock so now they're planning on getting rid of runecrafting. etc, etc...Your logic just doesn't make any sense.

Well, they could, but I don't think they will. They said in a news post with the addition of the Quick Chat worlds that they have NO intention whatsoever of removing player vs. player trading.

wow? Why would they spend so much time thinking of a trading cap system. How would gwd work, the small trading. Say graardor drops sharks

They would lose more memberships. I don't think they are wanting this. Jagex's goal was to remove rwt, they half phailed with bh (F2P Bh fTW).
