March 28, 200917 yr Author Support, but would hoods be included? Hoods would be included unless Jagex wants to keep them for members.
March 28, 200917 yr Support, but would hoods be included? Hoods would be included unless Jagex wants to keep them for members. Ah good, because the only hood available for F2P is that crappy Grim Hood :x Hit me up on LastFM to see my music taste and chat :)
March 28, 200917 yr ...but f2p should just be given the ability to purchase any skill capes in the f2p areas. That's not what this is about. The suggestion is to have the ability to remove or put on the skillcapes in a f2p area (right now, you have to be on a member's world). You would still need to be a member in order to purchase one. I am well aware of that, I was simply stating my opinion on the matter ;) Look guys... I absolutely must be a mass baby-seal murderer!
April 8, 200917 yr Author It looks like our thread on the RSOF met its doom because of the rush of f2p forum goers. New thread Quick-Find Code: 77-78-995-58649862
April 15, 200917 yr This is... Fantastic! I'm glad someone actually put this on the RSOF because I've had the same idea for a while now... I have a skill cape, and it is very annoying not being able to change my characters clothing because I can't take off the cape, and I've yet to be able to go to a pvp world because if I die it would be taken off... So I definitely support this idea
April 15, 200917 yr i support too... i'm going to 99 cooking in F2P so this would be great :D Quest cape achieved on 7/11/2010.You'd have to be some sort of masochist to want to be a forum moderator on the RSOF. They're honestly better off, imo.
April 16, 200917 yr Author i support too... i'm going to 99 cooking in F2P so this would be great :D I'm not sure you read the post. This idea would not allow you to purchase skill capes in free worlds.
April 26, 200917 yr I just checked the first post, and I may have missed it, but if skill cape's are wearable in F2P, does that mean that the combat bonuses are active? 100% F2P99 Defense, Tuesday February 10th 200999 Attack, Tuesday May 26th 200962,189th to get it
April 27, 200917 yr Author I just checked the first post, and I may have missed it, but if skill cape's are wearable in F2P, does that mean that the combat bonuses are active? That's for Jagex to decide. They could appease members by letting them keep hoods and the defense bonuses or just let free players have the whole package. My thoughts? I just want my skill cape.

May 19, 200917 yr Author wow I was dumb back then, now i fully understand the thread #-o I do support the whole entire idea that you have posted Congrats on being the first person to correct themselves. :)
May 30, 200917 yr It would be fairly useful and if u need to take it off for any odd reason u wouldn't have to world hop or if u run out of member and u take it off. What i think they should do is make the f2p skills make their capes obtainable in a non members world if the npc that gives u the cape resides there. "To be the best takes skill and heart"Well at least I think so :D
June 6, 200917 yr i support too... i'm going to 99 cooking in F2P so this would be great :D I'm not sure you read the post. This idea would not allow you to purchase skill capes in free worlds. yes, well... i'll become member at 99, but only 1 month  then i'll be F2P again... thats why i support... :P Quest cape achieved on 7/11/2010.You'd have to be some sort of masochist to want to be a forum moderator on the RSOF. June 7, 200917 yr Hehe, I wouldn't worry about it, Mod MMG announced that they are making skillcapes available for f2p to PURCHASE and USE.
June 8, 200917 yr Author Hehe, I wouldn't worry about it, Mod MMG announced that they are making skillcapes available for f2p to PURCHASE and USE. I'm all for giving F2P complete access to skill capes. However, it might be too sudden if Jagex did that. Here's something I said regarding this topic from the RSOF thread: There have been instances where Mods have agreed that skill capes should be F2P; even the CEO of Jagex, Mod MMG, has said they should become F2P. I am in favor of this idea. However, making skill capes available to F2P outright might not be the right choice because of the uproar that might occur. We've seen how loud the forum community was when high level F2P were given access to the forums. This idea could be a good midway point. It would be a gradual change. First, we give former P2P the ability to wear skill capes. Last, F2P can obtain skill capes.
June 10, 200917 yr I support this ;) /Im becoming member soon for a month, just for the skill cape... And if i pay 10 dollars (by cell phone) then i ofc want to have the ability to wear and unwear the cape, just in case, im going for pk or something else, that requires to unwear the cape :) Im looking forward to see how this will end. AND HOPE IT GOES MY WAY :)
June 21, 200917 yr Making skillcapes available if they are in the f2p area I agree with that and that if you have one already and take it off you should be able to put it back on in a free to play world. :) Homer: So if we don't all vote the same way we'll be "deadlocked" and be "sequestered" at the Springfield Hotel, where we'll get Free Room, Free TV, Free Food, Free HBO. OOH! Free Willy!Skinner: Homer I think this has something more to do than a disobedient whale.Homer: Okay, how are the rest of you voting.Every member of the Jury: Guilty.Homer: How many "S'" in innocent?*Jury groans*Homer: I'm only doing what I think is right. I believe Freddy Quimby should walk out of here a free hotel.
